Chapter 13

I wake up in a bed, but not mine. I turn to look at the nightstand and see a note.

Hey went for a run be back in a little bit

Oh ya I'm at Zacs. I get up and try to find all my clothes scattered on the ground. I find my bra, underwear, and sundress. Now all I need is my sandals.

I walk to the bathroom, and take out my messed up braid. I let my wavy hair flow down.

I walk out of his room and find my sandals at the door.

I go to sit on the couch but I hear the phone ring. So I get up and walk to the kitchen (where the nearest house phone is)

Me: hello?

Stranger (it's a girl): hello? is Zac there?

Me: no who is this?

Stranger: I'm tori Zacs girlfriend. who is this?

Me: hi tori, I'm Chloe his other girlfriend.

Tori: what?!

Chloe: I know come over and hurry!

Tori: ok but why do I need to hurry?

Chloe: he'll be back any minute.

Tori: ok on my way. I live on the next street over. I'll be there in 2 seconds.

The line goes dead.

I go back to sit on the couch. I curl up in a ball. good thing my make up is off because I start to bawl my eyes out.

I snap out of this when thee is a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I yell

"Hey. are you Chloe?"

"Ya. tori?"

"Ya."

I get up and walk toward her. it was a good thing to because right when I reached her Zac came in.

"How could you?! I trusted you!" I yell

"What the fuck goes through your mind? You broke our hearts!" Tori yells.

"I can explain." Zac stutters

"No fucking explaining!" Tori yells

"I'm leaving!" I yell as I grab my purse and phone

"Me too!" Tori yells

As I'm walking out the door I text Theo

Hey can you come over? I need to talk to you.

I got a reply saying

On my way!

I need to know the truth. when Zac walked in and tried to explain he stuttered and was starting to sweat. Theo wasn't like that.

Once I see his car leave (which was right after I got the message) I walk up to his house to talk to his butler.

I knock on his door to see his butler answer.

"Ah lady Chloe I've been expecting you."

"What? you have?"

"Yes because I knew you would want to know the truth."

"Yeah that's why I came up here."

"I figured you would come right as Theo left."

"Yeah."

"Well come in let's talk."

"Ok."

We walk to the couch and sit.

"So was Theo cheating on me?"

"No. Bridgette was indeed his ex.Theo broke up with her just enforce meeting you. So Shai thought it would be a good idea for him to go the party. After that she would always come by. That's why I said it's the 3rd time this week."

"Ok. then why'd you wink at him."

"Wink? What? No the sun was in my eye."

I put my hand over my mouth "Oh my gosh! what have I done."
