CHAPTER 6

I woke up at 7 and after getting ready and putting on a pink shirt, jean jacket, and black leggings, I went downstairs. I had breakfast and saw a note on the table. It said,

Tess,

Your brother and I have to go to Chicago to get my name off of the house so we will be staying at a hotel and will be back on Sunday. you can can have someone stay with you if you want. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you in person I didn't want to wake you. I love you and be careful. Text me when you wake up.

I got a text that said:

He's such a flirt. I slipped in my vans and left the house. I got into his blue pickup truck and saw him sitting there on his phone looking hot as ever.

"Hey bae"

"Why are you such a flirt"

"I don't have to be a flirt you already like me"

I playfully pushed him and we drove to school. When we got there we sat in his car do I broke the silence.

"So are we gonna go?"

"Right after you give me a thank you kiss for me driving you to school."

"That's just a sad excuse for me to kiss you"

"Maybe, maybe not. you will never know!"

He looked forward and I wanted to be a tease so I quickly kissed his cheek.

"There's your kiss bae!"

We got out of the car and he stood in front of me and grabbed both of my hands and kissed me. I looked down and couldn't help but smile. He let go of one if my hands and we started to walk into school. Cameron and I were inseparable all day and we got some stares from people especially Katie. I didn't mind since I knew Cameron didn't have feelings for her. Cameron and I went back in his car at the end of the day and he said,

"What do you wanna do?"

"Well everyone in my house is gone until Sunday so.."

"Why?"

"Oh my grandmas sick and my mom and brother had to go stay with her for the weekend."

"Ohh. So I'm sleeping over all weekend?"

" ugh I guess but only because I don't wanna stay home alone."

He smiled and drove to my house. We got home and we went to my bedroom we both laid down on my bed and Cameron looked nervous. I scooted up and rested my head on his chest.

"What's wrong bae"

"Okay so I guess I've been wanting to ask you this since yesterday but... will you be my girlfriend?"
