The Hooded Woman

"How?! How are you alive?!" Kaname was standing now, towering over Zero who was now sitting nonchalantly on the bed. This burst of emotion was something that only she could bring out. "Is this some kind of sick joke, Kiryu?"

 Again, Zero responded with a now more airy, feminine tone. 

"This is no joke. I thought you were smarter than this Kaname... I left so many clues for you to figure out that it was me... yet you never once knew. The vampire hunters, the Kiryu's,  the Bloody Rose. Hell, I even had the same white horse..."

"The Kiryu's? How is that supposed to make any sense to me? And to disguise yourself as a male vampire hunter, of all things!" Kaname seemed ready to rip his hair out.

"My sweet boy... After I removed my own heart, I did not die. I was weak, yes. But as you know, Purebloods cannot die unless they are killed using my weapons. I regressed into a slumber and into a child-like state due to weakness, just like you."

  She paused. Giving a small glance to make sure Kaname was understanding everything.  

 "You might also remember that I was born of human parents... They gave up their lives to protect me.  Just like the Kiryu's gave up their lives to protect their sons' lives."

At this point, the prominent members of the Night Class had made an audience, gathering to have a look at the two intense auras coming from the room, not daring to speak, warned from the look in Kaname's eyes. 

'Good. Now I don't have to explain it to everyone,' Zero thought with a sigh.

"I was accidentally awoken from my slumber by Shizuka Hio. She led me to the Kiryu's, and I possessed the body of Zero, who was on the verge of death when I found him. As it turns out, I am an ancestor for the Kiryu lineage, which is why Zero's body fared so well when in the possession of my Bloody Rose."

  Zero gave a small smile towards Kaname. Reassuring him.  

"A few months ago, Kiryu's body gave out, and I returned to my normal appearance, though by that time, you did not need me and my body was still not strong enough to return to my original state as a Pureblood, so I morphed myself back into the Kiryu boy until I knew I was strong enough, and thanks to your blood... it was much sooner than expected."

And with that, Kaname was left speechless. He stared, hard.

She still had the same long, white hair and those beautiful lilac eyes. Of course, the resemblance was uncanny. How was he so blind to it before? 

Maybe because he wasn't expecting his 10,000 year old lover in the form of a  male teenage vampire hunter?

I tend to ramble when explaining, I wanted the details on why it's entirely possible for the Hooded Woman to be Zero. I have way more on why it's possible but didnt want this to be boring or any longer than it is because I'm too good at doing that xD

I got carried away xD you can basically find a lot of details supporting it if you look at the manga and the wiki :) but it's not canon, so yeah:( just me wanting it to be a thing.

I can explain more if anyone wants :)
