What life is like now(Tvd/Original Fanfic)

Chapter 1- The meeting

"Emily last time I checked, class time is not the time to be zoning out in class." Mr Zess says bringing me back to earth.

"Mr. Zess as I may apologize, today is the last day of school and we shouldn't be learning about boring 16th century stuff." I sass back.

"Emily just listen to the video."

I roll my eyes at the teacher and look back at the clock counting the minutes till school is finally out for good and I finally graduate from this hell whole and start college. The weird thing is I haven't just been zoning out but having weird premonitions. I don't exactly see things but feel them. This shouldn't be happening because I'm not the witch my twin sister Katy is. In my premonitions I feel love, the hurt, pain, and then amazing. I don't know what to make out of it.

Finally the bell rings dismissing class and high school for good. I can't wait for tonight because my best fiend Jessica is having a end of school party and it's going to be big. Jessica, Hailey, and I have been inseperatable since kindergarten and we all are going to be roomies in college together.

"Em, what's been up with you?" Jessica asks making me forget what I was thinking about before.

"Yeah Emily you've been zoning out a lot in class lately." Hailey says.

"Guys calm down. I am just so excited for summer to finally be here! I can't wait for the party tonight."

"Yes it's going to be amazing. People from all over Fremont are coming. It's going to be the party of the year!" Jessica exclaims.

We walk out to my car and all get in, bringing down the top and blasting music, finally driving away from Mission High School, only to be back tomorrow for graduation. The party is at 7:00 so I drop Jessica and Hailey off and go to my house to get ready. As I open the door to my house I am surprise to see a familiar face, the face of myself, the face of my identical twin sister Katy.

"Hey sis, long time no see eh?"

"Wow such a surprise to see you here huh?" I say sarcastically

"oh don't act like you aren't happy to see me."

"yeah and why are you here?"

"Why I heard there was a party at Jessica's house. Couldn't miss it for a thing."

"Oh no you aren't coming." The thing is my sister and I didn't always hate each other. We use to be best friends until she discovered what her power could do and just started getting stronger and stronger as the years went on until she finally just disappeared. That was about 2 years ago and now she is back and I don't want to find out why.

"Whatever just stay away from me and out of trouble." I walk up the stairs to my room. Mom and Dad are still out at work so they still don't know Katy is here. I have a few hours to spare before I have to get ready for the party. I decide to spend my hours on Dm with Hailey and Jessica telling them all about Katy and her visit.

When I arrive at the party there are already people filling inside and outside the house. When Jessica spots me, she comes running to me with Hailey following shortly behind.

"Emily OMG! You are Emily right?" Jessica says feeling up my face.

I pull her hands down and say, "Yes I am Emily and I'm not quite sure where Katy is right now so let's just have as much fun as we can before she comes.

I walk inside the house and immediately am hit with loud music and the smell of booze. I walk to the kitchen to get myself a drink when i spot Katy flirting with a guy that I know from school. I immediately go up to here

"Excuse me?" I says as I pull Katy by the hair into the kitchen. "You cant just flirt with people I know. They won't know who is who."

"Uh yes I can. I have the free right to do as I please. I'm stronger than you." she says as she walks away and I just roll my eyes. I turn around to see Jessica and Hailey with there hands on there hips glaring at Katy.

"She is rude." Jessica declares.

"And sassy." Hailey adds

"Hey so am I!" I exclaim.

"Yeah but your the hot kind of sassy." Jessica infers

I laugh and turn around when everything starts to seem to go in slow motion as I spot a guy with blondish orange hair and little bit of facial hair. As I look we catch each others eyes and can't seem to look away. My friends seem to notice because they start whispering to each other.

"Who is that? He's handsome." I says to my friends who are next to me.

"That's Niklaus Mikaelson. Extremely hot and extremely popular. He's got a little bit of the devil in him.

"I'm gonna go talk to him." I say as I walk up to the man, who's name is Niklaus.

"Hello I'm Emily." I say when I reach him.

"Fancy meeting you Emily, I'm Klaus." Oh my he has a British accent that makes him even hotter.

"So what school did you graduate from?" I ask trying to sound casual.

"Actually love, I'm 19. I go to San Jose state college.

"Oh I just finished High school. I'm 17."

"How about I give you my number and we can go out sometime love."

I just nod and hand each other out phone. When he gives it back I see he has put his contact as 'Klaus the sexy god' as I only put mine as 'Emily Satos.'

"Aw I see not the daring type love?"

"I'll have you know I'm very daring."

"Ah really, dating enough to do this." And before I have a say in anything he just kisses me and that's when i feel sparks and my mouth feel numb.
