After a hard case, Kensi was laying on her couch. The case reminded her of the situation with her father. It was hard, and she just wanted to be alone. She was laying on her couch like a little kid, all curled up. She didn't want to think about today, but there was nothing else what came to her mind. These cases were always tough. In a couple of days it would be over, but right now all she needed was to be alone, with a big bar of chocolate.

But she forgot for a second that she had a partner, who cared about her more than anything else in the world. Someone(who could that be?) knocked on her door, but she wasn't planning on opening it soon. Most times she really liked Deeks' presence, but not today. So she ignored him, even though he was calling her name.

"KENS! I know you're in there! Open up, please?"

"Fern?"

"Please?"

She heared a sigh, and then the ringing of keys. A couple of seconds later, the door opened and he stepped in her living room. She still laid on the couch, not bothering to get up.

"What are you doing in my house?" She asked

"I have a key, remember?"

"The key was for immergency situations."

"This ís an immergency. Why aren't you answering my calls?"

She sighed "must've missed them"

He took a good look at her, lying there all curled up "how are you?" he asked

"I'm fine"

"C'mon Kens, don't say that. We both know it's not true"

"I know" she murmured

Deeks sat on the couch, lifted her head and put it back on his lap.

"Tough case, hm?"

"Kinda"

"It's okay, Kens. Everything is going to be fine"

He started stroking her hair, and she sighed, looking up at him, smiling a little.

"I know"
