*Kathryn's POV*

I wake up to hear an 'ow' and groaning. I open one eye at a time and see my best friend isn't on the bed. She sits up from the floor and rubs her forehead.

So she's the one that fell.

I start to laugh at her and she mumbles something towards me. She starts to head downstairs and I follow her.

"Oh common Kayla, don't be such a grouch. I'm sure everybody has fell off a bed in their sleep." I tell her, with a laugh. She rolls her eyes at me, but still laughs.

We walk over to the fridge and look for food, but there's nothing. We both look at each other.

"We need food." Kayla states.

"Well, no duh." I remark. She rolls her eyes. "One of these days your eyes are gonna roll out of your head." She just laughs.

We both go upstairs and change into winter clothes. I hate winter. It sucks. Kayla, on the other hand, loves winter because of her birthday.

We head to my car and drive to Walmart. I park my car as close as we can get it to the store. It's pretty packed for it being nine in the morning. We walk in and grab a cart. I start walking to the bakery, with Kayla following behind me, picking up random food items. She comes up to me with candy, chips, cookies, and Sprite.

"Thats all you want?" I say and laugh.

"Nope, this is just the basics." She says and laughs with me.

We're walking towards the candy isle when two guys run into Kayla. She screams and holds her toe.

"What the hell? Watch where you're going, Jesus Christ! Excuse my language and all." I scream and slap the guy that ran into Kayla.

"Jesus Christ woman, you just slapped me!!" He screams at me.

"Yeah, and?" I yell back. I hear Kayla laughing behind me. I start laughing too, and the other guy start to come towards Kayla. She stops laughing and looks at him.

"And what's so funny?" He says to her.

"Honestly, I think it's your face. Like dang, ever heard of a paper bag or something?" She states, with a smirk. He's so stunned he can't reply. So he turns around, and walks away. My face is red from laughter.

"Anything you have to say, big guy?" I say to the guy that had ran over my best friend, crossing my hands over my chest.

"I don't think so, nope." He kind of whispers awkwardly.

"Great." I say chuckling.

Kayla walks over to me, we grab the things we still need, and walk to the check outs. We pay for what we got and go to my car. When we finally get done putting the groceries in my trunk, we head back to my house.

"We killed it back there. But when you said that guys face was ugly, I just died." I say and start laughing.

"We so did. It was just the first thing that popped in my head. Oh god, he was so stunned, he just walked away. Then when you asked if he had anything else to say, I died!!" She says, and laughs along with me. We pull into my driveway and I kill the engine.

"They were kind of cute. I CALL THE GUY THAT RAN YOU OVER!! Like dang bae. He was totally checking me out to be honest. I seen him eye me up and down, but I still hate them. But the other guy..he was checking you out, too." I confess, blushing.

"Yeah, I noticed that too. They were totally hot. Like zayum." She confesses, also.

We get our groceries then another car pulled up. That's weird.. I wasn't expecting anyone else. When they got closer I knew who they were.

"Are those seriously the guys that were at Walmart?!" Kayla screams/asks me.

"Uhm, yeah. What the hell are they doing here?"

"You should be asking them that, not me."

I walk to there car and knock on the window. My hair is blowing everywhere. Jesus the wind is strong, and snow is blowing everywhere. He rolls down the window.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I ask.

"Well, a big snow storm is coming and we needed to get off of the road so we pulled into a driveway, hoping maybe somebody will let us in?"

"Well, we're not letting you in, so you can stay in your car." I smirk at him.

I pull Kayla inside my house with me, leaving them in their car. When we get inside we turn on the TV and watch spongebob.

"We should let them in. I mean, its freezing and it's gonna storm." Kayla whispers to me.

"We're not letting them in. If it's cold, they can turn the heater on."

"Then their car will die, and they'll be here longer with us."

"Good point, but my parents will get them if that happens." I point out. She rolls her eyes at me.

"Your parents won't be back from their vacation in two weeks. Don't pull that on me woman."

Dang, I guess she got me there.

"I hate you." I tell her as I get up to go get the two guys.

"I love you too!!" Kayla hollers at me.

I walk outside to their car and tap on the window.

"What?" The guy asks me angrily.

Well, rude.

"I was gonna ask you if you wanted to come inside." I say, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh."

"Yeah, so hurry up, because the offer isn't going to last."

They get out of the car fast. Jesus, they act like I was gonna run to the door and say 'just kidding'. Which I would have. Dang.

I go inside right after them and close the door. I see them sitting on the couch across from Kayla, but she's to engrossed in spongebob to notice them staring at her. I take a seat next to her. Kayla sits up and turns so we're both facing them.

"So mystery guys, what're your names?" I ask them.

"I'm Ashton, and this is Luke." Ashton says, and points to an awkward looking Luke.

Ah, so my guy is Ashton, and Luke is Kayla's guy.

"Well, I'm Kathryn, and this is Kayla."

There's an awkward silence, so Kayla's genius idea is to turn on spongebob.

Jesus that girl and her spongebob. Makes me laugh.

"Ugh not spongebob, I hate spongebob." Luke says.

I see Kayla snap her head towards him.

"How can you hate spongebob? That's ridiculous." Kayla says.

"Well, it has dumb ideas, and it's not funny. Dumbest idea ever."

"Shut up!! You're just mad that he's better than you." Kayla hits him with her pillow.

Luke grabs his pillow and hits her back. It's a full blown out pillow fight in less then three seconds.

The lights flicker on and off. I look towards Kayla, because she's scared of the dark. I see she's already clinging onto Luke. That's the last thing I see before the lights completely shut off. I hear Kayla whimper in the process.

"Looks like we're going to stay the night," Ashton says. He's at the window looking outside, "there's at least two-three feet of snow outside."

I groan when I hear this news. This is going to be one hell of a night.
