The Forest Flower (Sasuke Love Story)

Chapter 1

*Flash Back*

     "Don't you ever throw your life away! No matter what because there are still people out there who care about you, including me! Life gets hard and lonely but that doesn't mean that you give up because not only will you hurt yourself but the people around you! Alright so your clan died, shouldn't that make you want to live out there legacy? Would they for you to throw your life away? No I don't think they would! Believe in yourself!"

*Flash Back Ends*

     I smiled at the memory. I can never repay Naruto for what he's done. I got out of bed and got dressed and put my medium length white hair in a pony tail. I put my leaf head band on my right bicep before walking out of the house and to the academy. We had just graduated and we were about to be put into our teams. I walked into the class and saw Naruto who seemed really happy. "Naruto! I knew you could graduate!" He sat up and flashed me a toothy smile, grabbing his head band with two fingers. "Thanks Moriko! I'm one step closer to becoming hokage, believe it!" I chuckled at his enthusiasm and sat next to him. I really hope I'm on Naruto's team, I don't care about any one else's. I felt eyes on me and I turned my head to see Hinata staring at Naruto. She looked at me and I gave her a knowing smile, making her blush and turn away. Aw, how cute! I heard two people running through the halls and I looked to the door to see Sakura and Ino trying to get passed the door at the same time. "I won!" Sakura turned this way and smiled. I turned to look at Naruto who was blushing. Poor Naruto, he can't tell that she doesn't like him. She ran over here and looked at me and smiled. "Excuse me Moriko!" I nodded and got up, getting out of her way. "Thank you!" Naruto stood up and smiled. "Hey Saku-" She pushed passed him. "Move!" I then realized where she was headed. The famous Sasuke Uchiha. "Good morning Sasuke!" He looked at her with a blank expression. "Mind if I sit with you?" Ino appeared out of no where and yelled at Sakura. All of his other fan girls appeared and pushed me out of the way, making me land on my butt. I tried to push down the anger that was slowly eroding within me but I couldn't help it. "Don't you guys know that it's not nice to push someone down?" They all stopped and looked at me and I stared them down. "Were sorry Moriko! We didn't mean to!" I smiled and got up, dusting myself off. "No problem! Just be careful next time your fan girling!" I walked to Naruto and helped him up. "Are you okay Naruto?" He ignored me and glared at Sasuke before popping up on the desk in front of him. All of Sasuke's fan girl yelled at Naruto as he glared at Sasuke. My eyes widened in shock as Naruto was bumped into from behind, causing him to lock lips with Sasuke. I tried to contain my laughter, not very well I might add, and all of Sasuke's fan girls ganged up on Naruto. I stood there, shaking my head before going to take my seat. Iruka finally walked in and all the fan girls dispersed, revealing a beat up Naruto. I sighed and looked towards Iruka sensei as he congratulated us on becoming ninjas. He then announced the squads. "There will be one 4-man squad. Now I will announce the squads, starting with the 4-man squad.Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno," Naruto cheered while Sakura bowed her head in defeat. "Sasuke Uchiha," They switched characters. "And Moriko Hana." Naruto cheered again while Sakura was still giggling about being on the same team as Sasuke. Iruka then announced the rest of the squads while Naruto complained about being on the same team as Sasuke. "Naruto calm down, it's okay!" I tried to calm him down. "Iruka sensei, why does a great ninja like me have to be on a squad with a guy like Sasuke?" I sighed. There's no calming him down. "Sasuke has the second best scores in the class while you have the lowest, to create a balanced group, we put the worse ninja with the best." Everyone laughed at him and I glared at them, shutting them all up. "Iruka sensei, you said Sasuke has the second best so who has the first?" He smiled and looked at me. "That would be Moriko Hana." Everyone looked at me and I winced. I hate the attention. "After lunch, you will all meet your jounin teachers, dismissed!" I looked to Naruto and he seemed to have a plan up his sleeve. He looked at me and smiled. "Moriko. I'm gonna do something so go on without me!" I looked at him suspiciously but agreed. I didn't feel like eating so I went on some random roof to play my flute. I pulled a scroll out of my pouch and opened it, summoning my flute. I picked it up and looked at the silver instrument, which was passed down to me by my mother. I put the cool metal to my lips and started playing, my fingers gliding across the keys smoothly, as if it was second nature to me. I heard muffled sounds from the ground below me and stopped playing, making my flute disappear in a puff of smoke. I crawled to the edge of the roof and looked over to see 'Sasuke' climbing out of the window. What is Naruto up to? I heard more muffled sounds coming from inside the room and I decided to check it out. I climbed in the window to see the real Sasuke tied up. I face palmed, shaking my head. "What are you up to Naruto!?" Sasuke saw me and his eyes widened. I walked over to him and untied him. He pushed the rest of the ropes off of him and gave me a confused look. "Thank you but can I ask you something?" I got up and walked to the window, ready to jump out. I waited though, giving him the sign to continue. "Was that you, who was playing the flute?" I quickly nodded before jumping out the window.
