Pain

It was 8pm on the night shift at Holby ED Connie was working on a patient along with Jacob and much to her disliking Elle. Over the 2 years they had been separated Connie and Jacob had gotten closer. Especially after loosing their un born son Mason. Elle on the other hand was Connie's worst enemy. "we need 30miligrams of morphine " called Elle "hes going into cardiac arrest"Elle shouted At this time there was 3 patients in resus a 3 year old boy, a new born baby girl 6 days old and a druggy mother who Connie was treating.

Elle carried on treating the patient but Connie seemed oblivious to the situation, since she told the team she had cancer they were all kind too her they did there job they didn't hastel her. Connie began too feel dizzy she stepped away from her patient and looked around and saw all eyes were on her in a split second she collapsed falling too the floor with a thud. 

Members of staff ran too her side Jacob fell too the floor softly picking her up in his arms gently putting her in bay 4 in resus saying the words "come on Con you can pull through this i love you" Jacob told her as Duffy,Cal and Zoe attached wires and took obs. Jealousy clear in Elles face.

"we need too check her tumor we need too see whats going on get me a scanner please" shouted Zoe to Duffy who got the scanner Zoe then asked Cal and Jacob too go behind the board  and she called in Alicia as she needed a all female team for the scan. Lifting Connie's top she put on the machine the results made all 3 women shred tears 

"Charlie we need to get her too theatre or we are going too loose her" Shouted Zoe sadness evident in her voice gasps were heard but then Jacob ran too the staff room crying. 

He Couldn't loose her he loves her. Elle then entered Jacob hadn't spoke too her since he lost Mason unless it was about a patient.

"Jay" Elle called quietly .

"don't call me that your the  reason i  lost my fiance my son THE ONLY CHILD I WOULD EVER HAVE"Jacob stated getting pissed of towards the end 

"Jacob you do have a child"Elle called to Jacob 

"Don't say that Mason is dead" Jacob spat angrily.

"not mason Jacob Blake he is yours we slept together remember 15 years ago when i magically fell pregnant me and mark hadn't had sex in months you are the only  person i slept with in march 2001"Elle told Jacob .

"you've lied to me for 15 years you BITCH i want joint custody of Blake i may of only just found out but hes my son you lying whore"Jacob spat at elle. 

"Jacob Connie is going to theatre now she woke briefly asking for you i said you will see her in  a few days and Elle i heard the conversation you really are a home wrecker aren't you" Cal spoke forcefully. 

"Thanks pal" Jacob called to Cal giving him a 'bro' hug
