We put our dishes in the dishwasher and returned to my room. We only had one wall left to paint so we took our time. Almost as soon as we got done my dad got home.
"Wow it looks good kiddos I really like the colors"
"Thanks Cameron helped me pick them out"
"So I take it you guys got along"
"Yeah you have a great daughter" Cameron said nudging my dad

Who am I kidding Laura is much better than great she is amazing. Everything about her is perfect. I decided not to tell her about the band though because I want to make sure she is my friend for me not for the fame. I don't think she is like that but I just want to make sure.
"I know...thanks" Phil said to me as he gave her a hug
"Is it okay if I go show her my house" I asked without thinking. Wow that sounded so awkward. What if she doesn't even want to see it. How stupid could I be?
