Imagine 2 - Vinny Mauro

*Caitlin's POV*

I've just about had it. It feels like Vinny wants to be around everyone but me at the moment and I'm starting to think that maybe he doesn't like me anymore.

He's currently at the studio just now recording some drum tracks for the bands new album. Don't get me wrong but it seemed as if he was at the studio a lot more than usual recently and I didn't know what to do with myself anymore. And to make matter worse it was our fucking 4 year anniversary and he's completely forgot about it.

*Vinny's POV*

I've been out the house the past couple of days trying to plan a surprise for Caitlin and I could tell that she was upset with the fact I was leaving everyday but I couldn't tell her what it was or it would ruin it.

You see it's mine and Caitlin's 4 year anniversary today and I know that she thinks I've forgot but I've been planning this surprise for months. Today was gonna be the day I was finally going to ask her to be my wife.

I was currently walking about with Ricky and Chris trying to find the perfect ring but everyone I looked at didn't seem to be good enough for her. I felt sorry for Ricky and Chris having to follow me about all day but it had to be perfect. Suddenly I hear Ricky shout,

"Dude I think I've found the one your looking for"

I walked over and when I stopped I saw the most perfect ring out of them all. With no hesitation I went into the shop and said I'll have that one and I gave her the money and left.

Now all I had to do was figure out what I was going to say to her.

*Skip the Car journey*

*Caitlin's POV*

I heard his keys in the door and the door opening. He looked quite nervous and that's when I decided to speak up,

"Vinny, do you actually still love me? because if you didn't I'd rather you told me than me finding out"

He looked at you in shock, "Of course, I still love you, why would you think I didn't"

"Because recently it feels like you want to be around everyone but me and I hate it. and by the way do you know what day it is today? It's our fucking anniversary and you forgot. We've been together for 4 years and you forgot that."

"I didn't forget about it I've just been busy babe..."

You cut him off "too busy to be with your girlfriend, too busy to even say happy anniversary or send me a text to see how I was. Just forget it Vinny!!"

"Do you really want to know what I've been doing Caitlin?!?!?"

"In fact I do actually"

"I've been planning this..." and with that he got down on one knee infront of you and took your hand.

"I love you Caitlin, I love everything about you, your lip piercing, your half green and half red hair, I love the way you cut the crust off my sandwiches because you know I don't like them and I love your caring personality. And that's the kind of woman I want to have in my life for the rest off my life..."

He paused for a bit and took a small black velvet box out his pocket and continued.

"I guess what I'm trying to say is Will you Caitlin Murray marry and become Mrs Mauro???"

You could feel your bottom lip shake and you started to cry.

"Of course, I will Vinny!!!!!!!"

He jumped up and gave you the biggest most passionate kiss he had ever given you.

You pulled back, "I'm so sorry for shouting at you early Vin. I was scared that you were going to go out an find someone better and I never ever want to lose you you because you mean so much to me"

"Don't worry babe you'll never lose me your stuck with me forever now" he laughed.

You guys sat on the couch and curled up for a movie. It was safe to say this was the best anniversary of your life and you never wanted it to end.
