One green summer light

On a green summer night

It feels so right

Once out of sight

And one day I heard

You have found your bird

And from its herd

You brought the bird

Into your daily cycle

And once upon a midnight ride

You lost it to recycle

And now you dream

And now you weep

And all the memories you keep

Will, always, recycle

Now wish I may

And wish I might

On this one green summer night

That you give the bird it's flight

And watch it soar into the night

And yes, no it will not fight

For you will always, see its light.
