He comes in every day, a regular. She serves him the same thing every day. Black coffee and a waffle with maple syrup. He comes in at 9:36 am and leaves at 10am promptly. She sits and talks to him as it's always quiet. He knows her life story. He knows all of her hates and her favourite things. She knows nothing about him.

Genie was a 19 year old university drop-out. She lived in her dingy flat just outside of London with her waste-of-space roommate. She had a 9 to 5 shift at the bakery everyday. She never has a day off, she has no need to have one. Her family disowned her when she finished uni and she hasn't many friends. She chose to lead her life this way and she would refuse to regret it. She was unhappy but she made the best of her situation. She was -
Well, she was just Genie.

Harry was an unknown. A pretty boy. Probably a fuck boy, Genie always thought. Not a tech wiz. He never used his phone when he was in the bakery, she didn't think he had one. Always in the same booth, watching the cars roll by in the gentle pace of the mid morning. He was kind and sensitive. She knew this, he was always asking her questions but would never allow her to ask him anything. Not in a rude way, just shy she thought. She was never one to intrude on anyone's personal life. She knew as-well as anyone that not everyone wants to be an open book. She knew she had to get him to answer a question. Even if it was just one.
*So this is my first story and I'm just rolling with it so it may be awful but I have some good ideas. We will just have to see how this one plays out!
