You're All The Way Over There

Chapter 3

"What did you just say to me?" A rough and tired voice spoke to a woman.

"You heard me you asshole, none of this would've happened if you didn't let your damn pride get in the fucking way!" The woman yelled at the man before her, who seemed to be angry at her accusations.

"You stupid WHORE!" The man raised his hand about to strike when "CUT!" The man brang his hand down and now had a plastered smile on.

"Well done Jen!" He spoke hugging the small women. She laughed "same to you Roman, gosh I really thought you were pissed for a sec!" Jen laughed letting go of Roman.

"Okay people let's get the stunt doubles ready in six!" Yelled a man with an orange beanie on.

Logan sighed as he saw Roman head over to were he sat. "Well done Roman. I suggest you drink some warm tea or coffee and eat something." Logan said adjusting his glasses and glancing at his black watch.

Roman propped himself into the chair beside Logan and smiled. "I'll only eat if you do Logan." Logan turned to face Roman the lighting of the studios bouncing off his glasses. This gave Roman a hard time to read Logan's eyes. "Deal."

Roman smiled and followed Logan to the table spread with sweets and the such. Logan made Roman and himself some coffee, while Roman grabbed some brownies.

They sat back down just in time to witness the stunt doubles actions. "Ready-" the director yelled "ACTION!" A clap was heard before the stunt double representing Roman through his hand down. He "hit" Jen's stunt double so hard she flew into a table breaking it.

"CUT!" The stunt double, Susan, got up with the help of Sunny. "You alright Susan?" She smiled and nodded getting back into possession.

"Susan, this time when you fall make sure your hair falls on your face." The director, Joan, said adjusting his orange beanie. Susan nodded getting into the pose, Sunny followed.

"Okay ready...ACTION!" The cameras flicked to life as Sunny brang his hand down once more throwing Susan onto the floor.

"CUT! Perfect!" Joan said as Sunny and Susan high fived. Roman smiled at their antics as they got close to the camera and stuck their tounges out at it. Roman placed his coffee down and ran up behind them doing the same. "Hay come on not you too Roman?" Talyn, the camera operator, said with a chuckle.

Joan stood catching everyone's attention, "Okay everyone! That's a wrap for today! See you all tommorrow at four am sharp!" Roman turned to Logan to see him swiftly writing down the information for tomorrow.

Roman wished Susan and Sunny a safe drive home and walked back to Logan. "Hay so what ever happened with your friend, what was his name?" Logan clipped the pen into his shirt pocket.

"Patton" Logan said beginning to pack up his stuff. "Yeah him! So whatever happened with that guy and his kid?" Roman asked drinking the rest of his coffee afterward.

Logan turned to him "well, the man Virgil, was quite nice with Thomas. As a result Patton decided to include Virgil in our dinner tonight." Roman perked at this. He threw the coffee cup away and a wide smile found its way onto his face.

"Oh! This'll be fun! Espically since it's usually just the three of us! Now we'll have Thomas and this mystery man! Dare I say this could be the start of an adventure!" Roman claimed as they walked to his trailer.

"Roman, please do calm yourself. We don't want another Wilson escapade on our han-" Logan saw as Roman flinched at the name, "My apologies Roman. I just...do not wish to see you in pain once more." Logan said opening the trailer door for Roman.

Roman let a weak smile out "Thanks Logan, but I don't think this mystery man will be so bad. I mean Thomas of all people liked him! Thomas that kid has a good eye for people." Roman smiled and changed back into his casual clothing.

Logan shrugged "perhaps you are right. Either way, I will keep an eye on the man." Logan said helping Roman tidy his look up a bit. Roman looked himself in the mirror once more, before deciding he looked perfect. Logan once again held the door open for Roman and locked it behind him.

The two walked in comfortable silence to Roman's car, but the silence was interuppted by Logan's phone going off.

"Who is it?" Roman questioned trying to look over Logan's shoulder.

"Patton, he says he just got there with Thomas." Logan said before replying back with speed.

"We must hurry, we can't leave those two out in the cold." Roman said already digging in his pocket for his keys. Logan nodded and picked up his speed to stay beside Roman.
