The Gift of Sight {A NaLu Fanfiction}

Hello everyone. Since I really love Fairy Tail, and NaLu, I've decided to make a fanfic about it. This is just the prologue so it's kinda short so please don't stop reading but hope you guys enjoy.

(Lucy's POV)

Opening my eyes, I found myself exactly where I was... But... different. Is that physically possible? I was in the guild just a second ago. I know I was. I was talking with Mira about how many actual festivals we have in the town. Now were having a festival? Is this some sort of magic?

Hey, where'd the guild go?! I start to walk up to someone who looked very cheerful. "Um... Excuse me? What day is it...?" I asked a bit embarrassingly. "October 7th" he replied back happily. That's only a few days past today. Why didn't anyone notice that the guild was gone?

I look around, since it's crowded though I don't notice to much. I'm even struggling to get around. I look up and see someone on top of a building. It seemed as if I recognized him but I know I've never ever met him in my life. He sat there, staring at the position where the guild was supposed to be. What if he was controlling everyone's mind to think it was there? No, he'd have to be stronger than Master Makarov to do something like that!

In my process of thinking, surprisingly yet another occasion had occurred. Just while at the back of my mind I thought there couldn't be anymore surprises. This is getting weird. I didn't know what it was but it sounded like meteors, roaring over the town. Not meteors, but something controlled by fire. Possibly a fire wizard. All these wizards would have to be really strong, they'd be stronger than all the dark guilds combined.

The town went into flames and everyone adapted to that very quickly. The crying of babies and screaming of woman. It was all so harsh! I see Carla standing near to me in the exact same reaction. About to run to her, I woke up.
