Chapter 28

Mari's P.O.V.
I wake up and walk to the bathroom making sure I don't want up Emma since she wanted to sleep in. I look in the mirror looking at my now fades blue eyes. I turn on the sink and begin testing my powers. The water begins to raise and break apart into bubbles. Soon the water falls back into the sink.
"It's still there at least..." I whisper.
All the sudden I hear a knock on the door.
"Someone's In here!" I yell.
"It's me Amisha can I come in?"
"Uh yeah?"
She comes in and says "Ms. Faragonda and the winx club want to talk to you."
"Um alright."
I exit the bathroom and leave our room. I walk down the hall to Ms. Faragondas office. I make it to the door and knock on the door.
"Come in!" I here Ms. Faragonda day throw the door.
I walk in and I notice everyone staring me down with a worried look.
"So you wanted to speak with me?"
"Yes Mari it's about the Wizards."
"Yeah what about them.."
"We think you should step out of this fight and let the others handle it." Aisha says stepping towards me.
"W-what you can't be serious?!"
"We are very serious. Look at your eyes Mari your powers are fading."
"You don't think I know that! I can't just give up and let them win!" I say becoming very frustrated.
"Mari listen to me.." Aisha says grabbing my hands.
"I don't want you ending with Nabus fate.."
I look away not know what to say.
"We're just trying to do what's best for you Mari.." bloom says putting her hand on my shoulder.
"No no! I can't just step down I'm revenging for you and Nabu! Every evil thing they've done deserves to be punished and I will keep fighting..even if it costs my life.." I say yanking my hands away and storm out of the room.
I can't believe them I can't believe they told me to step down..
I walk back to my dorm room. I open the door and notice everyone waiting for me.
"How did it go?" Molly asks.
"Terrible they told me to step down from the battle!"
"They aren't wrong.." Stephanie says.
"Wait you to? I can't believe this!"
"Your just to weak at the moment to fight them."
"I can't believe I'm hearing this. This is Lord Darkar all over again. Fine I'm leaving I'm going home..since no one thinks I'm capable to be in the Winx Club.."
"Don't be silly Mari your very capable just not at the moment." Amisha says.
"Yeah and its to dangerous to go to the earth world they'll be waiting for you." Emma says.
"I'll think about it.."
"Hey on the bright side the Specialist are coming over for a party today."
"That's cool I guess.."
"Come on lets get ready." Emma says dragging me to the room.

At the Party

Everyone is saying their greetings while I decide to stay back and focus.
"Mari!" I hear my name called and I look up to see Micheal.
"Micheal!" I say as I'm picked up and spun around.
"Oh my god I feel like I haven't seen you forever." I say smiling for the first time in a while.
"Whoa Mari..your eyes..what happened?"
"The wizards of the black circle are back and they took some of my power..." I say looking down.
"Wait seriously how come the school never told us?!" He says with a very concerned look.
"Well it's supposed to be just our battle.."
"Oh..anyway we're always here to help we're just one call away away." He says smiling.
"I know..but I think I might go home for a while.."
"If something's bothering you. You can just tell me ya know."
"Yeah but this one I have to handle on my own.." I begin to walk off to my dorm leaving Michael behind.

Michael's P.O.V.
I walk over to the other specialist and girls.
"Hey guys what wrong with Mari she seems down.."
"Yeah Ms. Faragonda and the Winx told her to step down from our battle with the wizards." Molly explains.
"But that doesn't explain why she's going home.."
"Wait she going home?! That's to dangerous!" Stephanie says freaking out a bit.
"Maybe it's not maybe it's just her time to think.." Emma says.
"Yeah we can always check up on her tomorrow right? It's not like the wizards are aiming just for her right? Right?!" Molly says.
"Right!" Sergi says putting his hand on her shoulder to reassure her.

Mari's P.O.V.
I quickly pack my stuff and leave without being noticed. I begin to walk to the train station.
Your friends didn't bother to stop you they don't care about you..
Your weak..
Useless..
What Makes you think you can beat us..
Pathetic..
"Shut up!" I yell to myself. I quickly get on the train and begin the ride home.
