I cried as the warm feeling of blood sailed down my wrist. The bloody razor clattered to the floor. My eyes met their reflection in the mirror. They immediately were drown back to my bleeding wrist because I heard a drop of blood splash the sink bowl.
"Katy open the door!" My sister Sasha yelled as the door knob rattled with frustration.
"No! You can't do anything to stop this. Everyone could love me and nothing would change!" I scream back, tearsoursing through my words.
"Katy, we love you. The Shadow Knights love you." She says, leaning against the door.
I unlock the door and fall into Sasha's arms. She hugged me close and layed me on the couch. The oven hisses and she carefully on the plates. We eat in silence but then Sasha unexpectedly says "You can't keep doing this."
"You can't stop me." I whisper.
"But you could get help." She tries.
"I'm not getting help Sasha." I frown.
"It's what Mom would've wanted." She shot back.
"Don't talk about that." I cry.
She listens and cleans off our plates. I slip into my black skinny jeans. I pull on my black tank top on and cover my wrists with my black jacket Gene gave me one day during winter while we were little. I push my feet into my black studded boots. And for a finale touch, I slip on a Black Veil bracelet.
Sasha calls me over and we head out the door with our backpacks. She opens her mouth to talk but closes it. We start running when we see Zenix and Gene.
I jump into Genes arm and he yelps in surprise. "God Kitten, you weigh like a thousand pounds!" He exaggerates.
"I don't!" I say, hitting his back but immediately regretting it. Pain seared through my arm. You deserve it Katy. You deserve the pain. You're the reason Dad drunk drove.
Our Mom died because of cancer and depression over-took my father. After a while, Father stayed in bed and started drinking. During an outiong, Father thought it would be a great idea to drive. Expectedly, he crashed. Father wasn't as lucky as other people though. He died moments later in the hospital.
"Katy? Earth to Kitten!" Gene exclaimed, waving his hands in front of my eyes. I snapped back into reality.
"Yes Gene," I replied.
"We were thinking about going to the cafe during lunch. What do you think?" Gene suggested.
(This is a different world where the Shadow Knights don't skip school, but they do do the other bad things. Like graffetti and breaking random objects. They're also passive agressive to the students and whatever.)
"Oh, yeah sure. Sounds great." I say, looking off.
"Katy, you seem.. distant. Is something going on?" Zenix says as we walk to the school, the cool wind ruffling his hair.
"Nothing, I'm just super tired." I say, re-assuring Zenix of anything.
Sasha flashes me a look and I slightly shrug. We make our way to the school yard and part our ways to find our lockers. I look down for a second and someone bumps into me.
"I'm so sorry!" A high-pitched voice exclaims.
"Oh it's no problem," I mumble, regaining my posture.
"No, really. How about you sit with me at lunch? Being the new kid at school can be pretty hard!" The teen says.
"What the hell do you mean? I've been at your school for like half the year!" I shout, anger dripping from my words.
"OMI! So sorry, I've been so distracted!" She apologizes. "What's your name?"
"That's something you should know!"I shout and speed away.
-???'s POV-
I stare at the girl who I'd just offended storm off. I felt so bad! I should've known her name.. Even if I didn't know her that well. Now it's my mission to find her at lunch..
"Hi Aphmau~Senpai" Kawaii-Chan smiles. I return the nice gesture and say "Do you by chance know a werewolf with a purple set of ears and tails?"
"Sorry, Kawaii-Chan can't think of anything right now.." Kawaii-Chan ponders.
"Well don't sweat it KC. I just think I may have upset that someone I'm describing." I explain, wiping my brows.
"How could Aphmau-Senpai upset someone?" Kawaii-Chan frowns.
"It was really bad KC, you should've seen it!" I cry.
She frowns again and we walk until we find Katelyn. I tell Katelyn all about what happened with mystery girl and she tells me what she thinks "Well, I think trying to find and sit with her at lunch is a terrible idea. From what you're telling me, she seemed pretty mad."
"Yeah, maybe you're right." I sigh, looking at my feet.
"And what does she look like, she might play a sport with me!" Katelyn says.
"She has tan skin, purple set of ears and tail, oh and yellowish brown eyes!" I say, listing all the things I noticed.
"Oh yeah! She plays soccer with me!" Katelyn exclaims.
"Great! What's her name?" I cheer.
Katelyn taps her finger on her head and says "Well, I don't know her well. She joined but she kinda kept to herself, if that's even possible in soccer."
KC suddenly waves over someone rapidly and then I see Zane stalk over. His mask is pulled up more then normally and you could see some pink rushing around his face. His cobalt blue eye shined.
"Hey Ro'Meave, you know some girl with purple ears, purple tail, yellowish brown eyes, tan skin, and a nose piercing." Katelyn asks.
"Um, yeah. But she doesn't wish for me to tell you that information." He says smugly.
"Please Zane!" I plead.
"Well I'll give you a hint. She's in the Shadow Knights!" He smirks and walks away. Before he can get out of sight, he re-joins mystery girl. I frown and we finally get to class.
-Zane's POV-
I finally catch up to Katy and I sigh. She's walking pretty fast, though I don't blame her. Aphmau was kinda a jerk."You told her my name didn't you?" Katy growled.
"What? No, no, no!" I cry, "I only told them that you're in the Shadow Knights."
"Are you kidding me? I'm the only one they don't know in the Shadow Knights. Sasha talks to them all the time." Katy exclaims.
"I'm super sorry Kit-Kat," I say, offering her a sheepish smile.
She intertwines our arms and my face flares up. We make it to class and part ways. Aphmau walks in and takes her seat next to Katy. You could see Katy roll her eyes from like three thousand miles away. I couldn't tell what they were talking about, but Katy was annoyed.
-Katy's POV-
"So, I was wondering if we could start over. Like maybe you could come over for a party?" The girl asked timidly.
"You know what, if Zane is going I'll go." I say. Class starts and the teacher drones on and on about whatever this class teaches.
Lunch has finally arrived and I stroll into the cafeteria. Before I spot The Shadow Knights, a hand or something covers my eyes. Someone picks me up and rushes out the cafeteria. Though I struggle and try to flail my arms and legs around, they're stronger than me.
"Help!" I try to scream but it's muffled. They close a door and lock it, but they finally un-cover my eyes. My eyes water when I see who it is.
"Aaron.." I say, my body trembling. My legs fail me and I collapse against the wall. He rushes to my side and holds me up.
"Hey it's okay! I'm here." He coos, stroking my hair.
"You came back. You always come back." I say, sobs tearing up my throat.
