Two years had passed since Wolf and Marcus' incident and General Pepper has sent Star Fox our on another mission. James and Peppy had been gone for almost a week, leaving Fox with Rob. Every day seemed to go by slower then the one before. The fifth day was coming to an end and the door slammed shut. Fox turned around and found Peppy at the door, looking down at the floor as he breathes heavily. He waited for the door to open again but it never did. "Peppy? Where's my dad?" Peppy looks up at Fox and clenched his fists. "That damn traitor." He mumbled. Fox ran up to him. "What?" Peppy swallows the knot in his throat. "Pigma. He, he'd been working for Andross this whole time. Your father...he–he sacrificed himself to let me escape." Fox's eyes widen. Pigma Dengar was working with James and Peppy for three years after word of Andross, an exiled scientist, was planning war on the Lylat System. James, Peppy, And Pigma were sent out on a mission five days ago. Peppy now just returned and Fox couldn't take in the devastating news. He began to shake and his voice cracked. "No, you're lying." "I wish I were Fox. I told him not to do it but he wouldn't listen. Pepper sent out a large group of Corneria's army after Andross and Pigma. They said they'd try taking care of it." Fox fell to his knees and looked down at his shaking hands. Peppy leaned over and helped Fox up, having him lean against his shoulder. Fox began to shake violently and cried. He hugged Peppy hard and shook his head back and forth. Peppy did his best and comforted Fox as the late night approached.

"To the Arwings!" Fox shouted as the Great Fox's alarm blared. Falco, Slippy, And Peppy followed Fox as they made way to the Arwings. A few years after Andross's first attack went by and Fox brought Star Fox out of retirement in order to stop the mad scientist. The elite force succeeded in stopping him and were coming back to Corneria from Venom but were soon under attack. When Rob informed that the Great Fox was taking damage, Fox took action in seeking for the source of attack soon after it happened. Once departing from the dock of the Great Fox, the Arwings flew around the large air ship. There'd been no sign of any near by attacks. "What could have attacked us?" Questioned Slippy. "Not sure. Keep your eyes open." Fox replied. The large ship was surrounded by the four smaller ones as it made its way back to Corneria but as they reached the center of the Lylat System, there'd been another attack. This time, four other smaller air ships arrived, in the color red rather then blue like the Arwings. The team split up, seeking after one ship each. "Who are these guys?!" Falco Questioned as he dodges several shots that were fired at him. Fox did a quick "U" turn and started firing at the ship that was chasing after him. "No clue. There's no transmissions or anything. Don't let them get to the Great Fox though!" All eight ships were in aerial combat as the Great Fox slowly made its way through space. Slippy was hit with a hard blast. "Ah! Fox!" "Slippy! Hold on!" Fox cried out as he took a hard turn to face Slippy's direction. He used his boost to catch up to Slippy but a sudden ship crashed to the side of his and both started spinning downward. "Ah!!" "Fox!" Cried out his three team mates. Fox pulled on his control wheel, attempting to have his Arwing fly up. He'd managed to get it to steady. As it steadied, he saw that he was falling towards a small planet in the midst of the Lylat System. He braced himself as the Arwing quickly fell into the atmosphere of the planet and caused him to crash into a sort of forest. Fox hit the dashboard hard and was dazed when the vehicle stopped on impact. Fox took his belt off and stepped out of his Arwing, flinching as he grabbed his left arm with his right. He limped away from the destroyed vehicle and looked around. A loud echo had filled the air and Fox looked up, finding that the ship he'd crashed into was coming down near him. As it approached him, Fox began to limp away from where he predicted the ship to crash. The ship flew just pass him and crashed not far from where he'd crashed. Fox reaches for his blaster and slowly makes his way to the broken ship. The hatch opened up and Fox stared up as the pilot made his way out. There was a growl and Fox was suddenly attacked. The pilot and Fox rolled around as they fought to take the blaster away. The gun was slapped out of Fox's hands as he was pinned against the floor. Fox's eyes adjusted and saw a wolf staring at him, growling as he breathes heavily. Fox's eyes widened as he observed his facial features. "Wolf?!" The dog stepped back and looked down at Fox. "Yeah, that's my name. What about it?" Fox stood and dust himself off. He looked at Wolf with disbelief. "You remember me?" "I know your Fox McCloud. Son of James McCloud. Now leader of the elite team Star Fox. You work for General Pepper." Fox's breath slowed down and he stared at Wolf with confusion. "Wait, is that it?" Wolf pulled his gun out and pointed it towards Fox. At the sudden motion, Fox slightly jumped back. "Of course that's it. Now shut up so I can kill you." Wolf pulled the trigger and Fox dove to one side, barely missing the bullet. "Wolf wait!" Another shot was fired and Fox quickly dodged it. "Stop shooting for a moment!" Another. "Damnit Wolf!" Fox dove forward and kicked the gun out of Wolf's hand. "Do you really not remember anything else?" Wolf stood back, holding his fists up. "Am I supposed to remember anything else?" He mumbled. "Oh Wolf...what happened to you?..."
