One day I was sitting in class and my friend, Mandy, threw a piece of crumpled up paper at me. I turned around and she was shout-whispering "Jamie! Read it!" She pointed at the paper that had landed on the floor at the feet of- I didn't know. I'm quite observant but I'd never seen those shoes before. I tapped on the boys shoulder and he turned to face me. OMG! He had THE cutest smile ever! He reached down and picked up the paper. He turned and looked at Mandy who was now as pink as my dress. And my dress was PINK. He handed me the paper and then went back to leaning on his arm and looking at our old, yet still breathing, teacher.
I opened the paper and it read:
Did you see the new kid? So cute! Can you come over after school?
Well yes. I did see him thanks to this note. If I haven't been hit with it I probably would have dozed off completely and never noticed his cute..beautiful...sweet- my thoughts were interrupted when Mandy poked me. I turned and nodded.
After third period I bumped into Sally and Don they were making out in front of my locker. I didn't like Don and I don't know how Sally could stand to be with him. I shoved them off my locker and grabbed my books. When I started walking down the hall at Tandel High I tripped on a football jacket and that's when my math book decide to do a suicide leap out of my arms into...Luke's. Luke was that boy I mentioned a while back. He was such a gentleman. He helped me up and carried my math book to class for me. Maybe I finally found my Prince Charming.
