Jerome sat up in his quarters, gazing across the room at the Ark. It was a beautiful sight with the flora and fauna spread everywhere. He knew Spartans were not authorised to sleep whenever without permission but he had sustained partial injuries during his leap from the Enduring Conviction. At least his squad was okay. Along with Omega Team, he was stationed at the northern quadrant of the Ark and shared a firebase with 3 other ODST groups.
As he looked up, there was a slight purple tint to the sky, like a ship almost...
"Jerome-092! There's a Supercarrier in the sky!" shouted Kyle, one member of the ODST groups. Suddenly, a ball of light exploded in the bright sky as the Spirit of Fire MAC Cannons fired upon the unknown vessel.
The squadron watched in awe as the ships fought with explosives and whatever they could find to at least damage each other.
There was nothing they could do and, if it was Banished, the banshee squads would tear the colony corvette apart.
