(Kiara's perspective)

I was walking to home,listening to my music,my earbuds in and on blast,it was a spring day and the road to my village was empty except for the animals around the forest that surrounded my village,i am 19 years old,my birthday was three days ago i am living on my own and have been since i was 11 when my family was murdered and i managed to survive most people don't know but i have a glass eye where my left eye should be,i was tortured by the people who killed my family and they took a trophy before they were arrested and put into kenpatchi,that's the high security prison on my planet.

I got to my home and unlocked the door,i shut the door and locked it behind me i took off my shoes and sat my bag down on the hanger i walked to my room and started on homework.After about an hour of that i went outside and went for a walk,i listened to all the kids running around and laughing and playing as i walked,seeing the parents spending time with their families.I always hated those happy people.Always smiling and happy half these happy people are the reason why my family and others like mine have no justice!They make me sick!

"Kiara?"I heard a voice say my name,snapping me out of my thoughts i turned around and saw Jane;my friend since two years ago.

"Hey Jane,what are you doing here?"I asked my voice in a calm monotone voice,she smiled and stopped in front of me.

"I came here to see you duh!What are you doing out and about?i thought you hated people."

"I do,but i can't stay copped up in my house all day."I said and we started walking together.

"True,well let's go to the creek behind your place ok?"She suggested and i shrugged and followed her as she ran ahead to the path behind my place,i looked at the sky as we walked,the trees gently being blown by the wind of early spring,the scent of flowers filling the air the birds chirped as they flew and built their nests,the sound of the water of the creek in the distance.

We got to the creek and sat down in the sand,i picked up a rock and threw it into the water,it skipped a little.

"Hey Jane?"

"Yes?"

"Ever wonder what it'd be like if our families were still alive?"I asked and she went silent.

"...Well...i like to think that my little sister and i would still be fighting over small things and my mom and dad would come home every day and cook our favorite foods....and we'd go on the vacations and bring you with us...what about you?"

"Me and my family weren't that close,but it would have been fun to have a longer childhood,we had to grow up so fast when they were murdered."

"Yeah...but if we didn't we wouldn't' have met and helped each other get away and call the cops."

"We were lucky our dads were both in the military together and taught us things."I said and flopped on my back and looked at the sky,the sister planet of Sorgon showing lightly in the sky.

*time skip to night time,cause i'm to lazy :P*

Jane went home around 8 pm and i was inside and watching tv,Supernatural was on so i was watching the new season.i was eating my dinner and watching the peace and quiet besides the tv was nice.No screaming kids,no laughing and no baseballs flying into my window and breaking my things.It was now 10 pm and since i didn't have college tomorrow i was up late.I finished my dinner and went to the kitchen,washed the dishes,dried and put away,i walked to the bathroom and decided to shower,as i was washing my hair i started to think about my family,how they died and the three years i was tortured,then the day Jane's family was murdered and she was thrown into the basement with me and tortured then the night we escaped all the traps and the things we had to sacrifice to live.She lost her right arm and i lost three fingers in a bear trap.I shook my head and blinked a little to clear the tears from my eye,i rinsed out my hair and washed my body.After my shower i turned out the water and got out,i got dried and got dressed in some sport shorts and a black tank top,i brushed my hair and teeth.It was about 10:36 pm now so i just went to play some video games.
