The Red Chilling

Phase 3

On my way I met an old man named...
This man offered to give me lift to where I was going. After interacting with him, he offered to make me be a chief cleaner in his house. I told him that I will think about it and get back to him on phone so he gave me his complementary card.  I slept and thought about it and I saw it was a good idea so I called him and he told me to pack my belongings because a driver will be coming for me the next morning. I was asleep when my phone rang. It was Mr. Wilberforce and he said the guy coming for me had been waiting there for 30 minutes and when I checked the time it was ten thirty. I just washed down, used a mouthwash and wore a common dress and sprayed expensive spray and I took my belongings and ran out of the Guest house after I paid my fee. I greeted the man and he said," Hey shoddie come let's go". And I was so surprised because a driver could not call me this way but I sat in the car. Then when we reached the x junction I asked him for how long he had been working for Mr. Wilberforce and he said he did not need to work for him because he was his son. I shouted in shock and I bombarded him with many questions and he answered.

Fast forward>>
One week later
I began working for Mr. Wilberforce and I and his son Joseph became the best of friends but one day I was so surprised when his younger sister called me to a bed room for a discussion.
Seraphim: hello I wanted us to talk
Me: Please Joseph needs me to attend to him I will be back.
Seraphim: No listen garl. My brother is a scabbard and he doesn't know how to respect a woman and even me his sister is aware. If you know that there is anything going on between you guys then end it. Many ladies have been here and I never told them this and I am doing it now because I care for you. Beware of my brother because he can leave you broken and destroyed.
I told her that nothing went on between us and she left. I went straight to Joseph's room.
He said I was beautiful and he wished he would marry someone like me. I ignored him but he continued with the flattery and I got out of the room.
As I sat on my bed I reflected over his words and his sister's words and I started to cry because I started having feelings stirring inside me for him and I wanted to tell him to see if he liked me to. I went to his room and he locked the door behind him and after some flattery and caresses he slept with me. I felt like idiot and I was determined never to make such a mistake again.
That night, we were asleep when a gang of robbers came to attack us and they went to Joseph's room first. After the attack, Dada Wilbee checked the CCTV camera in Joseph's room and saw the full action of I and Joseph in the room before the robbers came and he got angry and kicked me out of the house but still Joseph promised to be with me to the end. I went back to the guest house and after some days I missed my period. I started having suspicions that a human being was growing inside me and I drew my own conclusion. Alas! I was confirmed pregnant in  the city hospital. I went back to Dada Wilbee's house and told them I was pregnant. Madam Wilberforce signed a 500,000 pound check and gave it to me and she told me to vanish from their lives forever. I did not see Joseph maybe he was truly a player and I hated playing hotch Scotch with him. I called mum and told her that I was pregnant and I told her the whole story. She promised to look after my child if I brought him to the village. I stayed with a friend and she assisted me during my pregnancy. I had many complications but still I had my baby boy in ten months. After a month my friend said that she could not bear with me so she kicked me out of her house. To her I and my baby were a burden to her. That night I did not find any hotel to sleep in so I slept in front of a bakery shop. In the night as I slept I heard someone wake me up and to my surprise it was my friend Myama wearing shabby clothes. I was so delighted to see her but I was so surprised at her clothing because it was this same girl who used to lead the Calvary Methodist church in worship. How come she is dressed like this?💁💁💁
