Eddie was constantly checking on his phone for a text message like " Hey I can meet you !" Cause it was the "meeting day" without a meeting. Eddie was sitting in the waiting room of the hospital. "visitor number 18 !" that was Eddie. He walked to the room and hugged his mom. he spended at least 2 hours in the hospital talking with his mom. He didn't tell about his little new friend to his mom obviously. He walked out of the door and headed to the mall.
~Eddies pov~
I walked to the closest food store at the mall, I had to buy some vinegar and cereal. I got the vinegar and started looking for the cereal.
I got to the cereal section and started picking some kind of a cereal. I started walking heads the cash desks. and saw a boy who looked familiar. He had very dark brown hair and glasses, I realized it was Richie with his little cousin. I quickly turned away and started walking away ~oh god~ he was in the cash line and I was hiding. This was an opportunity to go and say hi but I was too scared.
I felt dumb.
I just was walking around the store with a packet of cereal and a bottle of vinegar. I started slowly walking back and he wasn't there anymore ~phew~
I was walking towards the cash desks again until someone hugged me from behind. I flinched and turned around "Richie?!" I looked at him
"It's me. " he smiled and looked so damn cute. I hugged him back and smiled I looked at his little cousin "you didn't tell me your cousin was soo little and cute."
"Yeah, I have to look after her." he smiled
"She looks like you a lot," I said cringing to myself
"Soo that means I'm cute too ?" He said with a smirk
I sighed and rolled my eyes " okay I'll admit it, yes."
"Awww." he looked at me and laughed a little
"shut up" I started blushing and looked away from Richie
" ur too cute, but I have to go !" he said and smiled
"see ya.," I said quietly
"Bye eds," he said and started walking way
I quickly bought the stuff and walked to the mall's exit. My heart was beating so fast and I was happy.
~Richies pov~
Eddie was so cute in real life. His freckles and the smile he had were perfect. I cannot stop thinking of him. I opened my phone
rtozier : I'm gonna spend the night here so wanna meet tomorrow ?
eddie.k : yeah sure
rtozier : tomorrow at 15:00 am at the restaurant next to the food store?
eddie.k : yeaa see you there!
rtozier : see ya cutie ;)
I closed my phone and just felt happy

it was night time, I was going to sleep but *buzz* someone tried to call me. I thought it was Richie but it was a uknown number.
"Hello??"
"Is this Eddie Kaspbrak ?"
"Yes?"
"your mom.."
"What ?!"
"your mom is dead."
