Her Crimson Eyes

Life is not always easy... Life is meant.for living though .... Its hard to live while she's gone... She was my life...my world..My everything ... But now she is gone and will never return .. Ever...

Paws pounding against the cold ground frozen over from the Winter snow.  Yips and growls from the excitement of the first run of the season. Most of the pack were pups that had yet to grow. This was their first run ever.

I looked around trying to find her golden eyes with the green specks. I then remembered. "Lets go Akashaye! " the beta pushed me "Go out get some food! " . I pulled my ears back on my head and padded off with my head low. 

The forest was still with no sounds. All animals were in hibernation or looking for something to eat.  The sound I wanted to hear came to my ears. Breathing. I balanced my weight and crouched into a stalking position. I made no sound what so ever. I then located my target to behind a tree. As I moved swiftly and silently I peeked around the tree to see a deer who had wandered off from the herd. She hadn't sensed me yet which was a good thing. I pounced and caught her neck between my teeth I then shook and felt her neck break. The does body went limp and I felt proud of my catch.

When I got back to the dens I went back to my human form. I saw the alpha walk past me and I bowed my head respectively. And he nodded back. "Akashaye. " the alpha addressed me. "Yes sir? " I asked. "I want you to go and find Kia, tell her I must speak to her. " . " yes sir. " I said as I started to.turn around and walk away. "Akashaye, when I have talked to Kia I must speak with you.  " he said giving me a stern look.  "Yes sir." I said and ran off.  I shifted to my wolf following the path to Kia's house. When I reached the small house I knocked three times.I waited for a little before the door opened to a blonde haired girl with light green eyes. " Akashaye,  can I help you? " she asked. "Uhm. The alpha has requested to speak to you. " I said. " Very well. I shall be in front. " she said shifting and looking at me. I shifted also and submitted. She looked pleased and took off. I had ran also but I was mostly jogging. She.was running full speed. 

We got to.the.pack house and she went in. I shifted and went to my favourite place. The nursery. I was always welcomed here. Even as a lower ranked wolf. I walked in and looked for Mrs.Vine. " Akashaye! " I felt someone tugging at my pants. I looked down to see her. My angle. " Alerith! " I picked her up in my arms and looked into her green eyes. " Ali, do you know where Mrs.Vine is? " I asked. " The closet. " she said. I set her down and grabbed her hand. She skipped into step with me her red hair bouncing. When I got to the closet it's door was slightly open."Alexia? " I asked. " Oh Kia'la! You've been busy but i need you to.do me a favour. " Mrs.Vine said as she waltzed gracefully out of the closet.  " Yes?  What is.the favour? " I asked. " Well I need you to watch Ali Kitty here, " she said pointing to the red haired girl. " And I need you to go find your mate.  " at this sentence I coughed. " My mate? What mate?  I'm an Omega.. Omegas aren't supposes to have mates. " I said looking to the ground. " Kia'la Akashaye Skyy Renten! " I shot my head up at my full name. But she continued " Kia'la,  your a gorgeous and handsome young man. Your turning eighteen in one week. Its about time you find your mate. You've been living in this place you call home. But this is no home. Its a wasteland. You deserve better. You are going to be something great one day. But you need a mate to do that. Go out on an adventure for your mate. Think of it as a quest!  " I was in admiration " Now go shoo. I have work to do. And take Ali Kitty with you. She needs parents.  You may have lost your mother but its okay. You'll find another love. But love in another way...." She said as she turned away and walked down the hall. 

I now have a journey to begin. With my Ali, and my mother in my heart,  I will make it.
