! CHAPTER TWO !

Lost

I was walking through the forest my big black paws shaking the ground around me. I had a saddle on for Ali. She was telling me to run but I kept looking and sniffing. Ignoring her as humans would say. I just say not talking to because I'm not in the mood. " Ali, if I run you would bounce all over the place and get scared." I said calmly. " But Kia! I WANNA GO FAST! " She yelled. "Shh! " I sneezed and then stopped. " Are you sure, baby? " I asked looming back at her with my orange and purple eyes. " Yes I'm sure I've been saying that for the past hour! " Ali continued " Come'on Kia! Lets go! " I looked forward and put one paw forward and took of at a sprint not full on run. Ali squealed with joy and yelled " Faster! " . I went faster and before I knew it we burst out if the forest to a park. I smiled and Ali climbed off my back. I shifted to my human self. I looked around before stepping out into the open. I felt grass on my bare feet and My smile grew bigger. " Kia! Look! " Ali yelled for me to look her way. I looked to her on the monkey bars and she started to do the bars I walked over to her and stayed close in case she fell. "Kia I made it!! " she was so proud of herself. " Great job, Beautiful. That was good! " I praised her and then continued. "We can only be here a little longer okay? " "awww! But why? " she pouted. "The humans will be out soon. " I said looking around. " Humans? " she wondered. "If they knew we were here they would hurt us. " she gasped. I heard a car door slam and I looked up to a man with his son and daughter. I looked to Ali and grabbed her hand " Come on Ali lets go. " I walked over the the side walk and started walking towards the town. We came in and it was new. The air was heavy. It wasn't fresh. I was looking everywhere. I found a store that said "Ross ". " Lets go get new clothes. " I said pointing to Ross. " Really? " she said her eyes sparkled. "Yes. " I said as I grabbed the wad of money that Miss Vine gave to me

before I left. We walked into Ross. We went to.the shoes first and Ali picked out sneakers and sandals. I picked out a pair of red converse and green Nike socks. We also got shorts pant and shirts. I paid and we went to an apartment complex. It was called " Silver Forest Apartments " I walked into the front office asking to rent a two bedroom apartment. I payed the fee and went to the room. We walked in and it was furnished. It was amazing. Plush brown couch with a flat screen TV.

After exploring the rest of my new place I then put all of our new clothes in the dressers and put Ali down for a nap. I pulled out my phone and.called the packs house. After three rings someone picked up. " Kia'la Akashaye Rennen! " " Hi Nana ..." I said. ... the phone call went on for an hour and a half.

Ali and I had changed and went to a food place. Humans had really good sushi.. Ali was gorging herself on it like it was her life line. I was laughing at how much she was eating. She would shift soon. The full moon. It was in one week. Ali would be ready. I have to tell her though.
