EXTENDED SUMMARY— Carolyn got a lot of male attention. She got a lot of female attention, too. She just got a lot of attention in general. Carolyn didn't mind it, in fact she revelled in the stares she got as she walked through the halls of Forks High School. It was as if she were Asmodeus, living off of the lust and love the student body felt for her. It was invigorating. All except one pair of eyes, however. Mike Newton was, perhaps, the most annoying human being she had encountered in her two hundred years of living. He never talked to her, but his staring was constant and never ending. And, unfortunately for her, they had three classes together. Usually, attention was nice, but Mike Newton annoyed Carolyn Cullen in every way possible.
