Keyana's POV:

I was running down the stairs of my house while Wyatt rushed down the stairs behind me. When I got to the living room, I made a quick holt and turned around, just to be greeted with his beautiful hazel eyes.

"get away from me. i need time to think about what i just saw and frankly i don't wanna discuss this with you right now." i grunt while slipping on my shoes. maybe a nice drive to one of my friends house- yet all of his friends are mine... 

"Keyana, I can promise you that that girl is a nobody. She has been bothering me with thirsty messages before I met you!" 

i stay silent while i search for my car keys. he may be telling the truth but my last relationship ended by my boyfriend cheating on me. i must look crazy to wyatt but i'm too busy trying my best not to look at his angelic face cause i know the second i do, i will be under his spell.

i finally catch a glimpse of my keys in between my couch cushions and quickly snatch them. i refuse to break down in front of him simply because i don't want to give him the satisfaction. i turn on my heels and walk towards the door. he still follows me.

"where do you think you're going?" he yells, trying to grab my wrist to pull me back but fails. 

"i need time alone. maybe you need some too."

he doesn't argue and watches me slam my car door in his face. there's no emotion in his eyes and it makes me wonder if this is exactly what he wanted, to get a reaction out of me. i waste no time backing out of my driveway and turning onto the empty street. as soon as i reach the stop sign a few blocks down, my phone dings. i grab the small device and carefully scan my new message.

four weeks later, Wyatt's POV

It has been four weeks since I have talked to Keyana. I have felt so empty without her and I haven't been myself without her presence. I told people that I wasn't in love with her but after she left, it was no surprise that I was deeply in love. The only time we had talked was when we were forced to talk during our awkward presentation about how sex works.

It was now the last day of school before summer break and it was my last chance to talk to keyana. Of course I know where she lives but today is the day where i tell her how I feel and maybe just maybe, she will take me back.

It was a friday morning and I was ready to get today over with. Tonight I was having a party at my house since my mom went to Iowa for a business trip. I was at least hoping to invite keyana just so I could be in her presence agian. I was walking through the big front doors to the school when I heard my name called from somewhere in the hallway.

"YO DOUCHEBAG!" finn yelled wearing a floral button up and his harry potter glasses. they suited him well. I laughed as I walked over to the losers gathered around my locker. "So you gonna ask keyana to the party tonight or what? She's been hanging with Millie and Sadie a lot so they can all come together." finn said.

"i dont know finn, she still hates me im sure of it." I sighed.

"maybe so but millie tells me about how much she talks about you and honestly that doesn't sound like hatred to me." he reasoned. I nodded until I heard a familiar giggle come from the other side of the hall. It was keyana. She had just got to school.

She looked beautiful. she was wearing a knee high tee shirt dress with a flannel wrapped around her waist. She topped off the look with low top converse and her little ankle socks. She also wore her little circle glasses that made her look so adorable. The more I looked at her, the more pleasing she looked, which made me really nervous to talk to her. I HAD to do it though.

Jaeden elbowed me, signaling for me to go and talk to her. I took a breathe and walked towards her. Her back was turned towards me while she faced the inside of her locker. I gently put my hand on her shoulder and she turned around to give me a slight smile.

"hey keyana."

"hello wyatt." she awkwardly smiled which broke my heart because of how close we used to be.

"look I know we haven't talked to each other for a while but I'm having a party tonight and I just wanted to let you know that you can go if you want. But you would make my day if you went." I said while trying to look into her sparkling eyes for as long as i could.

She gave me a quick giggle while examining my face while giving me a genuine grin.

"I'll see you tonight oleff." then she closed her locker and walked away with smirk on her face.

Same old Keyana.

I was gonna make her mine again, no matter what it takes.
