Piper P.O.V.

As I turn the corner heading to my cabin, im stopped dead in my tracks by the sight in front of me. It was Jason, and he's... kissing Katie Gardner? That damn daughter of Demeter. What does she think she's doing kissing jason? In front of my cabin no less! "Hey. You know if you're gonna make out you could at least do it somewhere private.." Jason broke the kiss and looked at me, a wicked grin stretching across his face.

"Oh piper. How nice of you to join us." He sneered. "It was a great kiss..." He turns back to face Katie and cups her chin with his hand. "... But we were just the distraction."

"Huh?" I look at the pair confused until a hand wraps around my mouth. My eyes widen and I let out a muffled scream. I feel roots wrapping around my feet and snaking up my legs. Katie. She must be under Ethan's charmspeak. I thrashed and struggled as hands pulled me down to the ground, vines and roots wrapping around my arms and legs. As I lie there trapped I could hear the laughter of at least five more campers somewhere behind me.  Ethan had the whole camp under his thumb. But Jason. If I could just get a few words out I could fix him.  But if I couldn't. I decided to take the risk. I bit down on the hand covering my mouth as hard as I could, nearly breaking the skin. A scream of pain sounds from behind me and the hand moves. "JASON!" I yell "SNAP OUT OF IT!" Jason looks at the scene in front of him confused for a moment before rushing over and kneeling down beside me.

"Piper..." He looks at the ground, his blond hair shielding his eyes.

"Its okay. You didnt know what you were doing" He laughed. It was a laugh so vile and poisonus that it stung my ears.

"Oh but I did. You see. He wasn't controlling me. He simply opened my eyes, all of our eyes, to the truth. You and your group of traitors are the real enemies." He held his hand up to grab a knife offered by one of the campers.

"Jason..." I pleaded "please stop this."

He placed the knife on my arm where the roots had left a hole. " I'm sorry. But you are a traitor, and you will be branded as such." I scream in pain as he begins dragging the blade across my skin. The wound isn't very deep, but its still enough to draw blood. I watch for what seems like hours. I watch as the man I had once loved brands me as his enemy. Soon the pain stops as my vision begins to fade.
"Dont worry" his voice echoes, as if he's in a tunnel. "You won't die here. I just wanted you to know that your friends will be next." That was the last thing I heard before I passed out.

Annabeth P.O.V.

I was in my cabin pcking my bag when the room started to glow. I turn to find an iris message floating above my bed. "Annabeth you have to get out of there. There's a mob coming after you guys. They already got Piper. You're next on the list. Get the others and come to bunker nine. We have piper there." Travis spits out the message before I have any time to question and quickly swipes through the message, ending it. I grab my bag and run out of my cabin. Ive gotta find the others. I decide to go after Percy first. I take off towards cabin three as thoughts fill my head. Is Piper okay? Who is doing this and why? Why did the Stolls take piper to the bunker?

"Annabeth!" I was ripped from my thoughts as Nico ran up beside me. "What's going on? Why are we running?" Nico wanted as he struggled to keep up.

"The Stolls IM'ed me. Said there was a mob after all of us. Apparently they already got to Piper. The twins are keeping her at bunker 9. We have to get Percy and-" I'm cut off as we near the cabin three. An intense flash of light shows through the windows and the door slowly creaks open to reveal a sullen Percy. "Percy? Percy Whats wrong?" I freeze in my tracks. As Percy lifts his head to reveal tear filled eyes. "Percy..." I rush over and wrap him in a hug as he rests his head on my shoulder.

"Posiedon. He. He disowned me..." I look at him in horror. So many questions swirled around my mind at once. Had the gods betrayed us too?  Was there no one else we could trust?
What do they think we did? I pushed the thoughts to the back of my mind. The main objective right now was getting Percy and getting to bunker 9. We have to get out of here.
