Mabel's POV (Surprise!):
We were all at the Shack. Every person Dipper saved is living under this one roof, and it is very cramped. All the girls are sleeping in me and Dipper's room, and the room me and Dipper fought over is where all the guys sleep (excluding Ford, Stan, and Mcgucket). Most of the time we do our own things, but sometimes we get a partner or a group to do things with. Ford, Stan, Mcgucket, Soos, Wendy, and Robbie are the only ones allowed to go outside alone. The rest of us are too young and they don't want us to get hurt, or so they tell us. I snuck out one night to get away for awhile and I saw one of those eye bats, I was certain I would be turned to stone but after it looked at me for a minute it continued on its merry way. I never told anyone, but now I know they are lying to keep us locked up in here. The question is why, we won't get hurt because they are on strict orders not to so why aren't we allowed to go outside and hunt with them?
I've decided to just forget about it (for now) and focus on my work. We were all given jobs and responsibilities to do to take care of the Shack, and that's what I was doing now. It was extremely boring because I got the job of cleaner, all I did was clean the Shack everyday. It was the easiest and most boring job, and I got it because I just lost my twin. They all felt bad and didn't want me to 'over do it' or stress, but I honestly just wished I could have a better job. They treat me like I'm fragile and I'll break if anyone so much as mentions him, but I'm not and I won't. Yes, I miss Dipper, but he told me to be happy and not to worry. I couldn't promise the happy, but I did my best to reassure myself Dipper is fine and he can take care of himself. He fought monsters and Bill seemed to favor Dipper more than the rest, so I found it easier than the first task.
After daydreaming about how Gravity Falls used to be, the Shack was finally clean. Usually after doing my duties I would go do something like knitting, crafts, reading, or redecorating. Yes, I said reading. One of my ways to cope with Dipper was to read and look through his stuff. I've looked through almost everything, but he was always so fascinated by all these books so I decided to read them myself. I thought that maybe if I read them I would see what had Dipper fascinated all those weeks ago. Today I decided to continue knitting, so I grabbed all my tools and continue what I was doing last time. I was making a sweater that I think Dipper would like, but it was for me to wear to remind me of Dipper. To make me feel as if he was there with me. I wished for Dippeer to come back more than anything, but these things help to ease the pain.
I was knitting peacefully on my shared bed, when I felt wind run across my neck. The window was closed so I don't know what caused this sudden breeze. I ignored it for a little while but my curiosity eventually got the better of me, I guess someone has to be the curious one while Dipper's gone. I finished my row and set my unfinished sweater down to be completed later. I looked around at anything that could have brought in a breeze, and even behind me to see if someone was breathing down my neck. Nothing looked like it could have cause the odd wind in the room. I did not give up though, I looked around once more but this time more carefully.
Nothi- Wait.... I saw an envelope sitting of the desk in between the two beds. I could have sworn that wasn't there before. Wanting to know what was going on, I stood up and slowly walked over to the desk. I looked around as if this could be a prank and there was someone to watch me get humiliated. I saw no signs of anyone being nearby, so I picked up the envelope and looked to see who it's addressed to. 'Pines family' was what it said. Being extremely suspicious, I held it tightly in my hands and walked out of my room. I walked downstairs and looked in the living room. I saw Stan sitting in his chair and Ford was on the couch looking at some diagrams of something.
I cleared my throat and got their attention on me. "Ah, hello Mabel. What seems to be the problem?" Ford asked me. I held up the hand with the envelope silently, making the side that Pines Family face them. Both their eyes grew a bit wider and then grew dead serious, "...Let's take this to the basement." Ford said cautiously. I nodded and turned on my heels towards the vending machine. I punched in the code and waited for my Grunkles and the elevator to reach me. The elevator doors opened with the hiss of mechanics and we all stepped in. It was quiet as we descended lower and lower. We finally reached the set level and stepped off of the suspended death trap. I quietly walked over to the table with a few chairs and sat down, waiting for the other two.
