'Give me one good reason to come on this stupid "Holiday".'

"I... um..." Other than Phichit, Chris, Mila, and Georgi, I already had Leo, JJ and his fiancee, Guang Hong, the Crispino twins, Emil, and Minami who were able to come. I knew there would be some tricky people to work around, but Jesus, Seung Gil was making this hard.

"No good reasons? Goodbye. I don't need you wasting my time."

"Wait!"

"Ugh, what now Katsuki?"

"Dogs."

"What?" This was stupid. It was never going to work.

"We have dogs. And you'd be allowed to bring your dog with you."

"Is that seriously your excuse? Dogs."

"Well, Phichit, Chris and I had organised this. The rooms are linked by bathrooms and there was a certain amount of people, so-"

"So you had planned to pair me up with someone, and I would be sharing a bathroom with them, which, by the way, they would be able to access at all times, even if I was naked or....." He mumbled something Korean and I decided to intervene.

"You can have your own if you really want, we just figured it would be easier if well... y'know."

"나는 Phichit과 짝을 지을 수 있을까요?"

"Pardon?" Did he mention something about Phichit? I'm pretty sure he said Phichit.

"I said, who is the least annoying person that you and Phichit haven't already paired up? You two, knowing as much as I do about the two of you, are probably going to try and hook people up, aren't you? I honestly think it's pathetic, but, unfortunately, I don't have people controlling powers, now do I?" Sarcasm was dripping from every word he spat.

For some reason, I had a feeling that that wasn't what he had said about Phichit, but, as per usual, I ignored it.

"I um, yeah, we were."

"Well? It better be worth it." I thought of some people who we had planned, that wouldn't be paired with other skaters already. Georgi would probably try to talk to Seung Gil. I could try Mina- no, he would try to talk to him as well, and Minami was a bit more... persistent with friend-making. That left... well, Phichit. He would also try to talk to him, but he was the best out of the three to take a hint.

"Phichit."

"Phichit. Phichit is the best option?"

"You're acting like it's a bad thing." Did he hate Phichit that much?

"Fascinating. I'll let you know if my coach forces me to agree. Goodbye." He hung up. That was the bluntest voice I've ever heard. Maybe he really did hate Phichit. But how? Phichit was like a ray of sunshine in spring! I guess Seung Gil preferred a winter night.

Speaking of winter nights, this one was particularly bad. There was more snow in the apartment parking lot than I had ever seen. I looked down from the window of Viktor and my bedroom. There were some numbers that Phichit and Chris hadn't been able to get onto. One of them was vital for Phichit and I. If Otabek didn't come then- wait. Yurio had Otabek's number. I could ask him.

I pressed call on his contact, but it went straight to voicemail. I attempted to call Yurio a couple more times, before just resorting to a text message explaining the situation without giving away the fact that I hadn't already talked to him.

He texted me after a couple of seconds, making me wonder why his phone was unavailable before. Maybe he was just busy. Yeah, that was probably it. It was all fine. But maybe it wasn't.
