11 - Get Yourself Together

"And, Y/N, she used to be my stylist"

I almost dropped the brush that im holding. Jungkook was in a relationship while being an idol?

"I thought it happened years ago, Jungkook" I trailed off, quite confused. Mianhe, im slow.

"The time you started working here, we just came back from our break. And during our break, she worked in a different entertainment since she needed money. And when we came back that's when I found out that she quit her job here. She left me" he mumbled "That's why I'm cold and silent for a few weeks. Im sorry if ever I ignored you or something during that time"

"It's alright, Jungkook" I opened my arms and he hugged me. He was sobbing. I just let him cry his heart out. Break ups are never easy. Especially when they leave you without any explanations. "It's gonna be alright"

When he stopped crying, I dried his tears and retouched his make-up. "Thank you for sharing this to me, Jungkook. I promise I won't tell anyone about it until you're ready"

"Thank you for listening too, Noona" he smiled. Just then, Hoseok came inside the room.

"Annyeong lovers. Im just here to get my phone. You can resume your chat when I leave" he said, I blushed. Him and Taehyung always tease us and call us lovers. They might have interpreted my brother-like treatment to Jungkook as a sweet gesture.

"Kookie-ah, Jin hyung is looking for you. He said he's going to eat your food if you dont get there soon" Hoseok added before leaving us.

Jungkook stood up and checked himself in the mirror. "Come on, Noona. You should eat too"

"I will. You should go ahead. I'll just clean up" I smiled at him. He mumbled 'okay' before leaving.

When he was gone, I can't help myself think about our chat.

Jungkook looked like a strong man for other people, for ARMYs. But we didn't really know what he's hiding behind that strong facade he has. And that made me adore him. Just adore, okay? Don't worry. I know my limitations.

"Yah! I told you pabos not to eat my ramen cup!" Jin is already shouting at the members. They just finished their concert and they are having some snacks and the maknae line already started messing with their hyungs.

"I didn't!" Taehyung is laughing while Jin is harassing him. You know that cute laugh he has when he's scared or shy? Yeah, that one.

Jimin is already taking some videos while laughing. "Yah Jin-hyung it's just a ramen cup. There's plenty more in there"

"I don't care! That's my favorite one" Jin grunted "And I want you guys to learn how to listen to what your hyungs say! Where is your respect?"

"We're back at it again" Namjoon sighed as he lay down on the sofa.

I noticed that Yoongi already left the room. We all know why he left.

"Just stop it guys" Hoseok looks really unhopeful now. He's really tired after a three hour concert. This is their longest show yet.

And in this whole conversation, what Hoseok said was the only thing I understood. They always tell this, especially to the maknae line, and I already know what it means at this point.

"Noona! Have you eaten?" Jungkook approached me while im fixing his luggage. He looks unbothered with Jin's commotion.

"Yeah. I already ate while you guys are up there" I smiled at him, he sat down beside me and watched me do my work.

And his stare doesn't help me at all.

I dont know why but lately, i've been shy whenever he looks at me longer than the usual. This is getting weird. I dont like this at all.

Stay in your lane, Jungkook!

"The van is leaving! Hurry up!" Their manager announced. The boys all stood up and collected some of their stuff.

"See you at the hotel, Noona!" Jungkook waved "Take care!"

"You guys take care too!" I smiled at them before they left.

There are two vans that will take us back to the hotel we are all staying in. Since they can't fit in one van, they have to take separate cars. And they have to get to the hotel first, before we do. They have to rest, our flight for tomorrow is really early. Of course, their resting time is more important.

I just sat down once I finished with his luggage. I chatted with some noonas. The one I'm close with is Hoseok's stylist.

"Notice how the room goes silent when they finally left?" She said, I can't help but laugh. It's true. Those seven guys can be really loud, especially if they are full of energy. Hoseok alone can be really loud already.

"My ears are finally resting" I joked. I remembered Jin shouting just a while ago in this same room.

We both fell silent. We don't have any energy to talk anymore. I closed my eyes to get some rest. And then Jungkook's face popped out of my mind. I jolted.

Aish! Why are you thinking about him that much? You can't like him, Y/N! You'll lose your job, then you won't be able to pay your bills. Then you'll be back in America!

My phone beeped. I got a message.

'Jimin hyung is already asleep. I dont have anyone to talk to. I'll be sleeping now. Goodnight, Y/N!'

Dug dug dug

Aish!! Jeon Jungkook! Stop messing with me! I can't like you. You're probably thinking of me as your older sister. And here I am having feelings for you.

This needs to stop.

As soon as possible.

I can't fall for a superstar like him. I have no chance.
