It was just another sunny, bright, and happy day with the lovely aura of merriness in the air. Lucy Heartfillia was just about in the mood to say warm greetings to frowning strangers in hopes to cheer them up. She headed towards the direction of her guild, Fairy Tail. As usual, she stepped on the raised part of the street and summoned Plue, a celestial spirit. Shortly after, a fisherman passed by in his boat.
"A lovely morning to you mister!" Lucy greeted to the fisherman.
"Good morning Lucy-chan! And please be careful!" the friendly fisherman waved.
"I will!" Lucy smiled warmly. She was always touched by the kindness of the fishermen that cared for her safety. Lucy walked on for several more minutes thinking about what she should do for the day. 'Should I go on a job or stay and relax?' she wondered. After a minute or so, she was already standing in front of her guild.
"Oh the memories." Lucy breathed and smiled.
Lucy had noticed that she didn't hear any sign of rowdiness and boisterous noises from the guild. She wondered if she came too early or they passed out too early. 'Oh well, I guess I have to find out myself.' Lucy thought as she opened the doors.
And do you know what greeted Lucy?
Darkness.
Silence.
Lucy had trouble with adjusting her sight in the darkness. She tried to at least make out one thing.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUCY!!!" the lights turned back on.
Lucy saw all of the guild members and Master grinning widely.
Lucy gasped. She knew it was her birthday but, how did her guild mates know? Mira jane Strauss walked towards Lucy holding a big, pink, beautiful, birthday cake that had a chibi version of Lucy sitting inside a star.
"T-Thank you v-very much minna!" Lucy grinned.
"It's nothing Lucy," Mira said, "you deserved it."
"Now let's go partehhh!!!" Cana Alberona yelled. And as if on cue, the Exceeds threw tons of confetti all around the room.
"Yeah! Let's goooo!!!" Lucy laughed at Happy who was wearing a tee shirt with a fat version of her in the front. It was just so adorable that Lucy couldn't get mad at him. So so cute!! KAWAII!!
Lucy was having so much fun that she didn't notice a certain dragon slayer missing from the picture.
~€: One Hour Later :€~
Lucy decided to rest for a bit and decided to take a proper look around. The banisters were decorated with sky blue, light pink, and white fluffy thingies. The massive chandelier above had swirly Japanese paper hanging loosely from it. The floors were scattered with the confetti that the Exceeds threw earlier. The stage in front was really pretty with all the decor and the 'Happy Birthday Lucy' lettering they must've hung before.
