♡ Chapter 24: News ♡

Woo hoo!! I finished my Science Test!!! I don't really enjoy Science :( My head is hurting a lot... Do you guys have any tests coming up this week?

Irene P.O.V

"Why are you guys late Irene, Jungkook, and Taehyung?" The teacher looked at me.

I had no excuses to say. I was late because I didn't check the time. 

"Sorry... We were in the hospital," Taehyung apologized.

"Why were you guys in the hospital?" She asked.

"Joy got into a car accident," Jungkook replied.

"I wasn't asking you but thanks for replying," She smiled.

"Irene... You come follow me," She added.

Am I in trouble?? I followed her back out of the classroom.

"So I wanted to tell you this," She started.

I nodded.

"You know how we pick one student every year to send them to America for few years," She continued.

"You got picked!" The teacher smiled.

"What?!" I exclaimed.

"All the teachers voted for you! You are a really responsible student with perfect grades," The teacher smiled.

"What if I don't want to go...?" I asked.

"Think about it. This is a great opportunity," The teacher told her.

It was her dream to become a famous fashion designer, and she knew if she went to America then it would be helpful.

We went back into the classroom and Taehyung looked at me.

"Are you in trouble?" He mouthed.

I shook my head. I quickly went back to my seat which was right next to Taehyung's.

"Why were you late?" Jimin asked.

"Joy got into a car accident," I explained.

"Oh..." Jimin nodded.

"Irene, what happened?" Taehyung asked.

"I am not in trouble... It's just something," I shrugged.

I didn't want to tell him about it. If I told him that I got chosen, he would tell me to go...

Lunch Time

I quietly walked out of the room. What do I do? 

"Is it true?" Jungkook asked.

"What...?" I questioned him.

"Did you get picked?!" He asked.

"How did you know?!!!" I exclaimed.

"I have my own ways," He smiled proudly.

"Does Taehyung know about it?" I asked.

Jungkook shook his head.

"How do I know," Jungkook shrugged.

"What do I know?" Taehyung came out of the classroom.

"Nothing," I quickly said.

"I heard my name," Taehyung said.

"We never called out your name," I lied.

"Were you two gossiping about it?" He asked in shock.

He was just being dramatic. 

"Yes," Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"What!!" Taehyung exclaimed.

He acted like he was fainting. He dropped down on the floor and closed his eyes.

"I am hungry..." I said cutting off Taehyung's acting.

"Let's go," Jungkook said.

"Leave him alone on the floor," I said leaving Taehyung behind.

"Hey!" Taehyung stood up really quickly and yelled.

Jimin P.O.V

I walked out of the classroom alone. I don't think I would even have friends. Taehyung, Irene, and Jungkook are too close for me to go in between them.

"Jimin!!" I heard a voice.

It was Jungkook calling me. Was he actually calling me?

"Let's go," Jungkook called me.

I was actually touched by this... I had someone that actually cared about me.

"Going," I replied with a small smile and I ran towards them.

"You are so slow," Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"Stop acting mean," Irene stated.

"I was not acting mean," Jungkook glared at Irene.

"Yeah right. Totally," Irene answered with the same glare Jungkook had.

"Jimin sunbae! Who are you eating lunch with?" Naeun appeared out of nowhere.

"Who is she?" Taehyung asked.

"A girl that likes Jimin a lot," Jungkook whispered.

"I am eating lunch with them," I answered.

"Here," She gave me a lunch box.

There was a handwritten letter that was pretty long on top of the lunch box.

"Did you make it?" I asked.

She gave me a nod.

"I hope you like it," She smiled.

She walked off with her friend Isabelle. 

"I think she's cute," Irene smiled.

"You think so?" I questioned her.

"She's really cute and bright," She nodded.
