The man tried to shoot Shannon with a double barrel shot gun. He missed. They split off. She went invisible and before he could reload, Alice stood up and shouted.
"Oi gun man, let the hostages go." He didn't move.
"I said move." He didn't budge. Alice was confused. As were the rest of them. Adrian took this moment to invade gun man's mind. He couldn't stay for long. He did it.
"I did it!" Everyone turned. "I got the kids location." Every one nodded. Alice let go of gun man and Adrian disembarked from his mind.
"Well where are they?" Jessica asked hurryingly.
"Through the back!" Adrian shouted.
He got ready to open it, but Jessica stepped in front of him. She gave a gesture that said stand back. And with a wave of her hand, fire enslaved the door and it melted into a pool of metal. She looked around for the kids. They were in the corner, on the floor. Hugging. Crying. Coughing. Dying. Jessica walked over to them and held them in her arms. They had suddenly become healthy ,(healthier). She started to talk to them, she was saying how they would be safe and how they would see their mother again. BANG!
"MY NAIL!" Alice cried.
Everyone ducked post haste. It was the loudest silence, except for the muffled crying of the children and the shuffling about and clicking of the rifle. Jacob stood in the doorway. BANG!
