I'm writing a lot of this on a Super moon/Blue moon and there was also a solar eclipse today! Werewolves just can't catch a break, man.

Scott's Perspective

We filled up some water bottles, and put on clothes better for moving. I hadn't been hiking with the sole purpose of going into the woods and not almost get killed since before I got bit. It felt weird going into the woods for any other reason, and to maybe even go through it leisurely. It made me excited to have a bit of normalcy, especially with everything going on in Beacon Hills.

"You ready?" Isaac asked. I nodded. We made our way outside, and started towards the mountain we'd be hiking up. It was a little discreet mountain. Pretty small, but Isaac said the path we'd be taking was pretty dangerous. To be fair we could heal even if we broke something so I wasn't too worried.

Walking in the woods brought back a lot of memories, but I suddenly realized something. Aren't werewolves super territorial? What if there was a pack out here. I immediately started feeling uneasy. I knew it would probably be fine, but we didn't know these woods, and there could be anything.

"Scott.." Isaac said. We stepped over a fallen tree in the middle of the path, as he said it.

"Yeah?"

"You're hearts racing, you okay?" He asked. I looked away, and sighed.

"Just.. I'm nervous. We don't know what's out here, and I guess being in the woods doesn't spark too many pleasant memories." I explained. He listened intently, and nodded.

"I think we're fine. I mean you're an alpha, not to mention an awesome fighter, and I'm pretty good too. I wouldn't worry about it. And I mean.. when I was younger I would come into the woods and just think. It's calming.." He explained slowly. We moved through the path slowly, it was serene, and I understood why he'd find this serene. I had asthma and I didn't like going outside as much as a kid, so I didn't relate that much.

"That makes sense.. but I'm still on edge." I said. He smiled.

"It's okay, we'll be fine." He said. I nodded, thankful he was so calm.

We walked for a while, I joked around, and felt happy. We were silent for a second, and my hand brushed up against his. I felt my heart skip a beat. Our hands brushed again, and he didn't say anything. Did he not notice? Or did he just not care? I took a change and made our hands brush again. He smiled a little, and I smiled back. Suddenly he did something unexpected. He grabbed my hand, and interlocked our fingers. I smiled a bit wider, and I could tell my face was warming up. He gave me a side-swept glance, and I breathed lightly. His light blue eyes sending sparks through my heart.

"Isaac.." I started.

"Shh..." He said, and we kept walking hand in hand. I didn't know what this was, but I liked it. I like him, and that can't be bad.

After a while we came upon a cliff side, and I realized why this path was kinda dangerous.

It was a thirty foot high cliff side with little to no gripping places to climb. I wasn't afraid, I just didn't wanna fall and feel like an idiot.

"You ready?" He asked.

"As ready as I'll ever be.." I said, walking up to the wall.

Isaac started up, grabbing onto little crevasses in the rock. I saw his claws extend, and he pulled himself up. I did the same, but it was harder than I thought it'd be. I almost fell a few times, but we both made it up. Isaac grinned as I pulled myself over and onto the grass. He had gotten up faster, and I realized he'd probably done this before. He laid on the ground, his arm blocking the sun out of his eyes. He looked like he was about to doze off, but he moved his gaze from the sky to me.
