Issue No.17

It really, really irks me when some books show the girl to be this average, normal kind who thinks she is way below average. I would write a whole essay about how everyone is created beautiful and you need to respect yourself to let others respect you but oh well I'll save that for some other time.

So yeah the plot revolves around this supposedly average looking girl but then when she walks out from the confines of her house, what happens? Bam! Every walking guy turns to look at her. Why? They find her more than average!

I undersatnd that it's fun to show guys falling for girls and finding them pretty but please can we not focus on how the girl thinks she is ugly?

I don't think I'm very pretty?

Fine believable.

I think I'm ugly and deserve to pass unnoticed yet when I walk out I'm highlighted as as a neon colour in black background?

Please. It's not being modest, it's being clueless.

We girls have better standards, I think. We can at least acknowledge what we've been blesssed with, if not accept it.

I really wanted to bring this out. I'm a wattpadian and this stands as an issue for me.
