Hello, my name is Curtis S. Arnold and you're reading what is essentially the forward.
This is an anthology work, meaning that each of the stories takes place in the same universe, the town of Raven, Michigan. It's a small town full of oddities and bizarre happenings, but no mysteries are ever solved, for how can they be by the dead?
That said, not all of the stories take place in the same time period. Some, White Noise, for instance, take place in the 1950's, while others, like The Various Rooms of the Raven Ward, aren't concreted by any specific time frame.
That said, I hope this helps clear some things up and soften any discrepancies in the reading from here.
