Learning from my sister

Well, it has been some moons since Nightflame and Echokit's death. I'm still mad, upset, and full of grief. At the Gathering, my mate, Sparrowstar, mentioned the deaths of the other four. Then, with a furious glance at Branchstar, CoralClan's leader, he mentioned my brother's death. He told everyone that our daughter has died too, due to her illness. Every single cat was shocked to hear that someone tried to attack her. Strange enough, a she-cat called Shineflower, told her story: 'I saw Strikefang slipping in the den. I ran to him, and told him to stop hurting a kit. Nightflame jumped onto Strikefang, I brought the kit some in a nest in a corner. I just tried to protect the poor kitty. I don't want kits to be hurt at all. I am so sorry for you, Lilyblossom.' I walked towards her. And stroke my cheek against hers. 'Thanks a lot', I whimpered, tears starting to roll down my face. We sat together, and saying goodbye at the end was a little bit hard.

Well, that Gathering was four days ago. My left kittens are made apprentices today. Swallowpaw had Lionfur as mentor. Plumpaw got Dovefeather and Snowpaw... LEAFSPIRIT! That lil' cute furball has real skills in herb knowledge. My family is a bunch of medicine cats. Holy crap. Well, I am truly proud. After their ceremony, I fled to the Lake. Now before I go on, I haven't told the whole story about dad. When he was killed, he was hidden somewhere. We never found him, or trails, and his killer told that he killed dad. Stupid asshole. Mom was really mad. But not as furious as me. When I sat at the lake, I heard a voice behind me. 'Nice view, huh?' It sounded dark and mysterious. I didn't turn around, and waited for the cat to come closer. I noticed them sitting partly behind, partly next to me. I inhaled their smell. It was strange but a bit familiar. I said: 'Show yourself, stranger.' 'I'm not a stranger. You know me, Lilyblossom.' My neck fur bristled when they said my name. 'How do you know me?' 'I know you ever since your birth. You were so adorable, you still are. And your sister, Leafspirit. Brother Nightflame... such a pain. He was amazing. I miss him. Or Echostorm. Echokit. Great cats. Do you know me? Maybe, maybe not. When you see me, probably. You don't recognize my voice, do you?' 'Show yourself', I repeated, getting a bit mad. My claws slid out, but then the cat appeared, they walked out of the shadows. It felt like time stopped. As did my mind. When it started working again, I thought: 'How the f*cking hell is this possible.' Then I realized. Dad.. he must've survived. We never could see his body. Never saw him dead. We thought so. He's alive. My claws slid in again, and I jumped to him. 'Stormbreeze!', I said happy. I could not believe it. He told me he became a rogue, but he missed us. He never wanted to come back, because he'd get a lot of questions he couldn't answer and he'll be suspicious. 'I can't stay longer. It has been nice to see you again. We might meet again, who knows.'
He left.

When I came back home, it appeared that Sparrowstar has lost three(!) lives due to his battle wounds. Which battle? That one where my brother and daughter were killed. He hasn't told me yet back then. I am very mad at him, but forgave him...
