As I slowly walk into the auditorium, there he stands. My duet partner; nice, solid, pale, and slightly tall, and masculine, almost as if he is made of porcelain. I step up next to him on the stage as he flashes me a quick smile, and the accompaniment starts to play our piece. He let out his small round of notes and glanced at me to begin.
I leaf a piece of my blond hair behind my ear as he reassures me and we continue on.
"You did a great job," Kurt grinned, following me through the exit.
"Thanks; you too, Kurt," I added as he adjusted his satchel and continued over to his small locker.
"Well, we still do need to work though; I mean, with you being Marian, and I myself being Harold, we should get all the practice we can get," he replied. "Come over to my place at six."
My heart skipped a beat as he scratched his address onto a slip of paper and placed it into my hands.
"Okay, cool," I beamed, soon realizing I had just fallen madly in love with, of all people, my younger brother's boyfriend.

"Hi," I greeted as soon as Kurt slowly pulled open the door.
He smiled, showing off all his teeth, as he returned the welcome and let me in through the doorway. "You're spiffed up," he giggled, noticing the nice, polka-dot sundress I was sporting. "Let's go to my room."
At that comment, I became even more ecstatic.
"Okay," I returned, quickly following behind him into his nicely set room.
The grayscale was very complimentary as every piece perfectly matched one another.
"You have a nice room," I began as he gestured me to sit down next to him on the bed.
"Thanks," he answered as his face flushed with flattery. "Let's get practicing; because I know it's rare for a freshman and a sophmore in college to obtain the two lead roles for a collegiate production, and I have a friend stopping by at nine."
I immediately grinned at him, stood up, and sang with him a few numbers. After a couple of times, we sat back down where we had started.
"Can I ask you something, like, really serious?" he inquired, blinking his shiny, green-blue eyes.
"Sure, ask away," I grinned.
"I don't know if its just the fact that I'm in college and I'm learning to discover myself, but, with you everything is different; I mean, I've been around other girls before, but when I get in your path, I just feel different inside," he stammered. "I am gay...at least, I thought I was, but when you came along and we spent time together in class, and at practice, I've become attached and completely into you."
I jerked myself back and blinked my bright, blue eyes; taken aback by this statement, I attempted to remain completely down to earth.
"I...well, I'm into you too," I tittered. "But I thought you were with someone."
"It's okay, just, let's try something, just to make sure this is legit," he explained, leaning his head in toward me and gently kissing me.
"Oh god," I shook, trembling in defeat.
After that, I just couldn't hold it in any longer; I took that moment and savored it with all I had. Leaning closer in, I placed one hand onto his face, and the other, on his waist.
"Oh dear God," Kurt mumbled, shoving me backwards, forcing my head to hit his pillow, with him following on top of me.
"Are you sure you wanna do this?" I whispered so quietly that it was almost inaudiable.
He gazed, smiling, into my eyes.
"Of course," he answered, violently pulling his t-shirt over his head and unbuttoning his jeans.
Biting my lip, I repeated the task the he had just completed and let him rest his hands on my bare waist.
"One question," I began. "Have you ever done this with a girl before?"
He quickly glanced downward and shook his head no.
"But, Sophie, I love you," he answered. "Whenever I'm with you, it's just different, in a good way; that's how I know I love you."
"What about Blaine?" I demanded.
"At first, I thought he was 'the one,' but you came along, and, I don't know, there's just this gleam in your eye and that light around you; this sign, is just telling me that you're the one I'm supposed to be with," he said, running his hand slowly down my cheek as my jaw tightly clenched together.
'Was I really going to do this?' I thought to myself as Kurt continued to slowly kiss me.
"Wait, wait, wait," I huffed. "Aren't you gay?"
"Just don't ruin it."
"I just don't want you to do something you're going to regret; I do care, you know, about you," I retorted, turning away as he made another attempt to kiss me.
"You're kind of annoying when you're giving advice, you know," he stated.
"I'm not giving advice, I'm making a statement. Now stop it!" I exclaimed.
Kurt stood up and grabbed his jeans off of the floor. "Fine. I would like you to leave."
Speechless, with my mouth slightly agape, I stood up slipped-on my dress, zipped it up and hesitantly grabbed my satchel off of the floor. Shaking my head, I looked downward and started toward the door.
"I'm sorry I couldn't fulfill your needs," I mumbled, opening the door and stepping out into the hallway.
"I have no needs," he scoffed, slamming the door, forcing me to walk myself out.
