He laid in the hospital bed awake. "We live in a horrible reality" he shrugged. It doesn't matter though. Nothing in this world is so important that it actually does matter.
Two days later
"From the files we've searched it seems you have no home" Nat alerted him
" I know that. I'm an orphan" Night spat back.
"Anyway as from today on... I have been appointed by the authority to take on the role and become you're new guardian" Nat mouthed in a posh way.
"This has all happened before... Before I went into the river... All these memories. It doesn't matter now. No need to fuss this."he reminded himself."By the way... my name is Night." He said more calm."That a bit of weird name." he spoke out and chuckled. Night could tell he was trying to ease the mood here by a making a joke rather than being rude. "Anyway we need to buy you some new clothes before I take you to my house" it was the final thing he said. Night jumped of his bed excited to leave the cramped hospital ward.He walked out of the White Chapel hospital with Nat in the lead. Night wanted to take a look at everything he went by before going to buy clothes.Nat on the other hand took out his phone. It seems he was in a conversation. One that didn't last very long.
"Erm Night... Forget what I said. Something's come up so I'll quickly drop you home with Lucy and go shopping tomorrow. Remember to get along with her" Nat muttered sharply. He nodded to show his understanding of the suitation. Nat grabbed his hand and quickly crossed the busy road. He clearly wanted to get to whatever happened as quick as possible.Door 7338.
That was his door number. Lucy was sat in the living room of this apartment on her laptop speaking to her friends on what looks like Discord. She immediately turned attention to the closing door and welcomed her father and gave him a pleasant greeting as well. She must be aware about the whole suitation as she did not seem surprised to see him in her house. "Lucy, I really hope you don't mind but he's gonna have to share a room with you for now" Nat said as he hurried rushing a bunch of things together in a suitcase." Oh I don't mind as long as he gets out when I'm changing and or doing anything of the sort. There's still a problem"Lucy caught his attention "I only have a single bed in my room. Actually nevermind, we still have that mattress don't we. He can sleep on that" Nat looked reassured. He left and said a goodbye to the both of them."So what's your name. I'm not psychic so you can't expect me to guess it" She used the same squeaky voice she did when they first met."Oh sorry, my name is Night"he said.
"I like it" she said as she blushed "now come on...let me show you to our room" She grabbed his arm to took him to his new living space. He would share every single bit of the room with her. Then he smiled " this is my new life!"
