Him and alcohol

The look he gets in his eyes as he lets the alcohol run down his throat and warms him as it settles, and he goes for another shot is the definition of danger. Yet I strive to have this sense of danger in my life. He gets real and doesn't hide his emotions while under the influence. He is a different person. His true feelings pour out like the alcohol he pours more of. He becomes dangerous at the same time as soft as a new lamb. He can become reckless and wants an adventure. The most dangerous thing is when he talks about the future. I shut his danger of thinking about the future down by a soft kiss on the lips and then continue to drown myself in alcohol as well. His danger becomes mine too. It's a contagious sense of danger I strived to have in my life and now I do, and I plan to make the best out of it.
