CHAPTER 1.} (AUDREE'S POV)
"Audree Lynn Irwin!" yells Arrianne. Grr. I hate when she calls me by my full name.
"Is that you my dah-ling Arrianne Lauren Irwin?" She needs a taste of her own medicine every one in a while.
"Ugh, don't call me that! Mum wants to know if you're busy tonight." Ugh. I wish.
"No. Why?"
"She needs you to watch Maxey, Minney, and Jack tonight." she replies snarkly, referring to our three younger siblings.
"Why can't she?" I snap back knowing shes going to take it in stride as always.
"She's busy. Duh!" she says while popping a bubble of her mint gum in my face.
"She's always busy and it's your turn. I've done it the last eight times!!!"
"So? Me and mum both agree that your much better at watchin' the little munchkins than me." I am itching to slap that bitchy smirk right off her face!
"You could at least try." I say, grasping my last thread of hope that she might change her spoiled mind. I mean, its not that i don't like the kids, its just i'm tired of being the adult while my mom parties and my sister gets drunk off her ass with that sleazy boyfriend of hers. "Hell no! I have better things to do!" Like what get stoned? "Whatever. Tell her i'll do it." Stupid ass. "Ok. I love you Dree!" Sure you do. "Love you too Arri."
