Loosing it

Hi I'm Sammie, I'm 17 and just recently moved to LA with my friend Maddie. I moved out as I lost my dad two years ago and not liking the new one, fresh start you know. I started doing YouTube about 2 years ago to make my life exciting as my dad used to do that. A fresh new start to a fresh new year !!!

I was in the airport waiting for my Uber to come. I sat there listening to my music and had my bag on top of my laptop. I got a notification saying my Uber was here. I messaged my room mate and bestie that I was on my way home to our apartment when my phone rang, it was a random number, I thought it was Madeline calling from someone else's phone so I answered.
•PHONE CALL•
S: hello?
D: hi is this Sammie?
S: yes why, who is this?
D: hi my name is Daniel, have you lost your laptop?
S: well if you have it then it's no longer lost. Could you explain what it looks like please?
D: it's a sliver MacBook air, with a 'SEAVEY 1/5' thing on the front and your name and number on the bottom so, if you're answering I'm guessing this laptop belongs to you.
S: omg I didn't even know it was missing, thank you so much. well I'm in an uber on my way home to put my luggage away, then I'm heading out to Starbucks. Would you want to meet at Starbucks near the peer and I'll collect it off you and buy you a coffee in thanks?
D: I'll see you in 40 minutes?
S: ok, thank you so much, what coffee?
D: whatever you're getting
S: ok bye.
I got off the phone and the uber girl giggled so I explained the situation and she thinks he's going to be cute, she thinks I'll date him haha she was so nice. She helped me carry my stuff up to my apartment when I get a message from Madeline saying she's out with her sister so, I put my stuff in my room, got my electric skateboard and headed out to meet the Daniel, who had my laptop, and get a coffee. I arrived at Starbucks ordered our drinks and got a phone call from Daniel. I answered
D: I'm on the beach waiting for you.
S: ok well I've just collected our drinks, what are you wearing?
D: orange beanie, black jeans, top and denim jacket with checked vans, what about you?
S: white hat, high waisted shorts, white and gold adidas superstars and a light pink crop top. I'll be down in a minute.
I ended the phone call and could see him sitting on the massive sandbags with my laptop. I walked down to him with my backpack, skateboard and coffees. When I saw him, I yelled out Daniel and he looked up and waved me over. I sat down and gave him his coffee and he didn't even look at me.
S: here's your coffee
D: thank you, here I'll put this in your backpack.
S: thank you. *turned my back to him and he put it in my backpack*
D: there you go Sammie and thank you for my coffee, again.
S: no, thank you for returning my laptop. Why won't you look at me?
D: ok, so you know my first name but not my last so promise you won't freak?
S: ok...
He looked at me and took his beanie off and there, sitting next to me was... DANIEL SEAVEY No words!
D: please don't freak out, I was sitting in the row opposite your laptop and Jonah actually pointed it out because it had my last name on it so we looked at It and found your name and number and he was like dude you need to surprise her and return it. So, here I am"
I had no words for anything. We took pictures and sat there talking, while I was talking to him I completely forgot he was Daniel Seavey so it was like I was having a normal conversation with my friend. We talked about school, why I was at the airport, where I'm from and the band. It was so much fun yet so chill. It was about 5:30pm and we watched the sun set, it became super cold and he gave me his jacket.
D: I already have your number so can I get your snapchat?
S: omg yes! How are you getting home?
D: uber. You?
S: I've got my electric skateboard, I'm like 10/15 minutes away.
D: would it be ok if I walked with you?
S: I'd love that, wanna get some food on the way?
D: thought you'd never ask haha
We got chipotle and walked to my apartment. I messaged Maddie telling her a guy was with me and she messaged back saying she's staying with her boyfriend tonight. Every Friday night is date night so I'm left alone on Fridays, but not tonight. I invited him and we sat on my couch eating and talking. It was about 7pm when I said I needed to sort my luggage out and he offered to help. He was so sweet, he hung and folded clothes for me, what a sweetie.
D: where's your awesome room-mate you were talking about?
S: I forgot its Friday night and it's her and her boyfriend's date night every Friday so im left alone every Friday night.
D: would you want to come over? The boys would love you.
S: really?
D: yeah, your so cute and funny and adventurous.
S: really? Did Daniel Seavey just call me cute!?
D: yes, now get a bag and I'll help you pack
I got a small bag out and my backpack. He packed bathers *the smallest pair he could find haha*, and pyjamas while I packed undies, clothes and toiletries. His house was only 10 minutes away but wanted to get an uber just to be safe, he's so thoughtful and cute. While waiting for our uber we sang and danced to
'Nobody gotta know', it was so much fun and super cute. Our uber arrived and we got it, Daniel told him the address and 5 minutes later we arrived. For the whole Uber ride I was super nervous, why did he want me to come over, what he was going to kill me? But that was a bit extreme in my head I was thinking of all the terrible things that could happen.
