Tailed Wings

Chapter 11

The gang had been in the jet for a little over three hours before Claude announced they would be landing. Al was all jittery, and everyone else was just happy that they wouldn’t have to sit around doing realitively nothing anymore.

          “Hey Kaycee….” Al started.

          “Yes?” I replied noticing his long pause, which was very unusual for him.

          “Well…… um….. *cough* Does Jessyca have a, um, a boyfriend?” He asked a little bit of sadness appearing in his voice.

          “Not that I’m aware of.” I said with a small smile. “I think she’s still waiting on a certain someone.”

          “Who?” Al asked.

          “Can’t say, but I’ll riddle you this.” I said having my fun now. “You know him very well, and he goes to our school.”

          After that they finally landed and were walking to Jessyca’s since she lived about a mile away from her family’s private air strip. The whole time everyone was silent, and a little edgy since the forest path they were walking on took them through the middle of the forest. They were about ten yards away when there was the soft pattering of feet.

          “W-what was that?” Al asked moving closer to his brother.

          “My goodness Al, quit being such a scardy cat.” Matthew said quitely.

          “But you know I’m not good with creepy places!” Al whined.

          Just then there was a rustling in the bushes to the right, left, and somewhere behind us. Everyone got into a fighting stance ready for anything. When it turned out to be Jessyca, Ashley, and a pale boy dressed like Link from The Legend of Zelda…. Everyone relaxed.

          “Hey Guys!” Jess yelled.

          “Hi.” Everyone responds to her bubbly attitude that rivales Feli’s.

          “So, how’s Feli?” Ludwig asked (worried for his little uke (:<)

          “He’s fine.” Jess replied with a smile. “Actually, while Kaycee was going to get you guys and everything, I discovered a spell that could repair all damages to Feli.”

          “Really? That’s great!” I said in excitement.

          “But, he will still need some physical therapy.” Jess said looking at Ludwig. “I’m putting you in charge of that Mr. Seme.”

          Ludwig blushed big time and everyone laughed, thankful that the bubbly Italian was alright.

          “So who’s this?” I inquired turning to the pale Link boy.

          “This is my boyfriend Ben Drowned.” Ashley said.

          “What’s up?” He said with a small wave.

          Everyone then proceeded to introduce themselves, then started to walk the trail towards Jessyca’s house once again. Everyone seemed to enjoy the fact that since Jessyca was in the lead Al decided he had to be up there as well, making a fool of himself.

          “They’re so cute~!” Eliza whisper/exclaimed to me.

          “I know right.” I replied back excitedly. “They need to hook up and soon.”

          “We agree.” Everyone except Al and Jessyca said. Yet again on the walk, everyone laughed, due to the big blushes on Jessyca and Al’s faces.

                   ~More walking later~

          “Here we are again.” Jess said as the group came out of the woods and walked up to Jess’s house. “Now I warn you now, if you are being to loud I will tell my niece and nephew and proceed to let them sit on you.”

          “Vhy?” Gil asked.

          “Because, that healing spell I mentioned has a side-effect, so Feli’s going to have a wee bit of a headache for a while.” She said quietly then entered.

          “You heard her Al, be quiet.” Ashley teased just to receive a glare and blush from Jess, since she found it to be adorable that Al was loud.

          “Whatever.” Al sighed.
