Chapter 1: Leave

Hearing my parents downstairs fighting every night gets annoying to be honest. And it's about the same thing. Mom comes home from work and sees dad sitting on the couch drinking while watching TV.

When I went into the living room, they were at their same spots as I last checked a couple of hours ago. Dad is still on the couch and mom is standing in front of him fuming.

"Everyday I come home making money for all of us and you're on your ass doing nothing! Just because you got laid off from you last job, doesn't mean that you get to sit here all day doing nothing! You should be finding a job and helping me around here!" My mom yelled.

I went back into my room and shut the door behind me. As I was laying on my bed,  I was thinking,

What happens if I just ran away from here? If there was a place where there were no problems. Where I can be happy?

I got up from my bed and grabbed my small backpack that had two water bottles and a few snacks inside.

This is what I usually do, when I can't relax, I grab my bag and go into the forest by my house to walk around for a while. Sometimes I sleep there because you can't really get sleep if you have people yelling below you.

Once I put on my backpack, I opened the window in my bedroom. Luckly my room was on the first floor of my house, so it's not a long way down to the ground.

I looked back to make sure there were no footsteps coming towards my door, of course there were none. Then I jumped to the ground.

As I was walking towards the forest, I noticed another path. Doesn't look like much people passed through it, but it's noticable.

Oh what the hell, I have no where else to go, so might as well.

I mostly ran into spiderwebs and branches, but it seemed like the path was straight. I didn't turn at all to go left or right. Who knows where this path goes to.

Later on, I was still walking in the straight path, until it brought me to a clear circle area with no trees around, except one. In the middle of the circle was a gigantic tree with what it seems like to be a door handle.

I slowly went up to the handle and twisted it. I was honestly shocked when it opened, but it was dark.

What is in there? I thought to myself.

Maybe it wasn't the best idea to go in there. As I was about to shut it, the door slammed wide open with nothing pushing it and I was sucked into the darkness.

That's what was all around me at this point. I couldn't scream, I wanted to, but nothing came out.

The whole time, it felt like I was floating in darkness, that's until I saw light right in front of me.

Anoymous POV

I was looking out at the dark sky and I hear someone running into my room. I hope it's the news I want to hear.

"My lord, she's coming," my servant said to me. I looked over and smirked at him.

"Wonderful," I say and look back at the dark gloomy sky, "The sooner she comes here, the sooner I can take her and make her my prisoner forever."
