One minute it was him being stuck in a pitch black and then the next it was a splitting headache. A pain like his head was going to crack open and just split. An unbearable amount of pain he'd never experienced before; surely never wanting to feel it again as well. He groaned out as his hand reached up to rub his temples, his body leaning up. He blinked a few times, his chocolate colored eyes examining where he was.

Wherever he was... he really didn't know. But suddenly something else came to his mind.

What was his name? Who even was he?

The questions in his mind began to swirl together; he began to grow anxious, his breath becoming labored.

What was he doing here? Where was he? Who was he? What was his name? Why couldn't he remember anything?

His mind just felt foggy and his body felt sluggish. He looked down as his hands tightened around a soft white comforter. He wore purple, plaid pajama pants and a soft black tee shirt.

Focus on the soft... His mind told him, remembering his breathing wasn't normal. He rubbed the fabric between his pale fingers gently. Oddly it eased him a bit, but he continued to examine the room he was in.

Large windows which let in sunlight.

White walls.

Wooden desk against the wall directly ahead of him. It may be mahogany.

A computer sat on top of the desk along with some folders on the table.

The floor was wood as well, which he wondered if it was Oak.

As he looked around, he hadn't noticed that the door to the calm, sterile room had been opened. A figure stood in the doorway with both a concerned and relieved look on their face. One of their hands was on the doorknob while the other held a tray that had breakfast and maybe some medication. They were dressed in a light blue polo shirt and khakis with a grey cardigan wrapped around their shoulders. "Ah you're awake. That's a relief..." They spoke in a soft tone, as if not to scare him. "How are you feeling?"

His eyes drifted towards them. How did he feel? "..." He didn't say anything as he tried to think about it. "I have a headache." He said, his eyebrows furrowed. After he'd said that, he could've sworn he'd seen the other bite the inside of their cheek in what looked like guilt. "Well, kiddo, I got you some medicine for that headache." The kindness of this stranger eased his feelings ever so slightly, but his anxiety still was spiraling in his mind. He nodded towards the offer and took the medicine immediately.

"I'm Patton by the way!" The male exclaimed softly with a smile once he looked back up. So this stranger, now Patton, was here taking care of him so maybe he was in his house? "Do you think you can remember anything..?"

He looked back down as he tried to concentrate on anything in his mind. It was like looking through a black fog as he searched for just... anything. But as he tried, the pain in his head worsened and he groaned. "Agh..."

"Don't strain yourself..! It's okay if you don't remember." Patton smiled towards him gently. He reached out to touch him but his eyes looked up towards his, asking for consent to touch him. He nodded anxiously and Patton moved to rub his arms gently. "Is there something we can call you?"

His eyes widened in surprise. "W-We...?"

"Oh yeah! I'm not the only one who lives here. There's two other guys who live here named Roman and Logan! I can get them if you want!" Patton soon turned away from him to walk out the door. He felt his anxiety spike as he imagined meeting more people when he was already trying to become comfortable with just Patton. He held out his hand in a panic. He truthfully didn't think he was even ready to meet anyone else. His heartbeat began to race as the male moved towards the door. It was like slow motion, his breath becoming short."Anxiety!" He suddenly shouted out in his panic.
