Winter POV
I was walking to the General's office, when I entered I was immediately met with, "Winter, I'm afraid you aren't allowed on any missions for a few months
"What, why!?"
"Your father will explain" I was walking to my family's mansion thinking aloud
"It can't be for my birthday, I'm twenty-three and he hasn't celebrated my birthday since I turned three and thirteen. He is hiding something!" She concluded nearing her house
"Schnee!" I heard and turned rapier at the ready, but was thrown to the ground by someone behind me "now how much will your daddy pay for you?"
"Why don't we rape her Bill"
"Because Bob, if we do he'll find us"
"Fine"
"Excuse me gentlemen, you don't happen to know where the Schnee mansion is by any chance?"
"He found us" Bill gulps
"Yes, now apologize to Ms. Schnee"
"We're sorry, please have him spare us"
"What?" I ask
"Excuse me miss, I'll take these two" the masked man said picking up Bob and Bill, then he took off his mask and looked at them. They started screaming,
"Stop" I demand
"No" ha says, then I ready my rapier and run him through and all he does is laugh "that tickles" I pull out my sword and look at it
"No blood?"
"Ahh, let me calm down a little" ha says dropping the two men "there, better"
"You sound different"
"Ahh, yes, Death has left...for now"
"D-d-Death?" He turns around and I see his face, he's so handsome, I feel my face heat up.
"Yes, I am the devil's bounty hunter, people who harm others or children because they can, they don't escape justice" he puts his mask on "shall we Ms. Schnee?" He asks holding out his arm for me to hold
"No, I can walk"
"Ms. Schnee, you shouldn't be walking, let alone standing, you may have a concussion" he says
"What's your name?"
"(Y/N), (Y/N) (L/N), most people call me Dr. Death though" I couldn't believe it,
(Y/N) (L/N) of the (L/N) dust company, our biggest rival, was helping me
"Well (Y/N), I don't me to be rude, but what do you need to go to my family's house for?"
"I have a meeting with your father about some prior agreement"
"What is it?"
"I don't know all the details, some agreement made when I was three that would take twenty year to happen"
"How old are you?"
"Twenty-three"
"Well, I'm twenty-three too" I say, then I start to feel light headed
"Ms. Schnee, Winter?" He asks as I start to fall. I brace for impact, but it never comes, then the world goes black
(Y/N) POV
"Ms. Schnee, Winter?" She then falls and you catch her, she seems to have blacked out. You pick her up "she's cute when she sleeps" you think "where'd that come from!" You whisper slightly and run to the Schnee mansion
"Mr. (L/N)?" A maid asks
"Where is her room?" You ask frantically
"Down the hall to the right" you run to her room and set her on the bed. Then you crack a stink stick under her nose. As she wakes up her father walks in
"(L/N), what did you do to my daughter!"
"He, did nothing daddy"
POV Winter (kill me now)
"(L/N), what did you do to my daughter!" I hear my father ask
"He did nothing daddy" I say calming him down "he saved me actually" I say and he removes his mask. I blush seeing his face "some men were gonna try and ransom me off to you, until Mr. (L/N) here came along"
"Well, since you two are acquainted, I won't have to introduce you two, you two are in an arranged marriage together, and have technically been married since you were three, all you have to do is get married at a chapel or, you can skip it all and get a court official out to verify it"
"What!" (Y/N) and I yell
"Well, you to have a five star hotel to hop get two, make this work" he say running from the room. I look at (Y/N) and see his face is slowly turning into a skeleton
"(Y/N), what's up with your face?"
"You father is a bad man" he says fighting it "I'm trying to fight Death, but it's hard"
"Forget my father, what about our arranged marriage" his face slowly turns normal when he looks at me
"Well, we've got a month to get to know each other more...Winter"
"Ohh, what happened to Ms. Schnee?"
"What happened to Mr. (L/N)?"
"I asked first"
"There's no need for formality any more" he says "now, you have a minor concussion, so don't over exert yourself"
"We're going to the hotel my father got aren't we?"
"Yep"
