Chapter 1

Batman was investigating the disappearances of "street girls" that have been going missing in Gotham.

He was following a lead he got from three "street girls", they told him that two cops where hiring girls to be sent to an other cop. These girls never returned.

Batman ended up at an abandon indoor public pool. He looked around the filthy pool area until he wonder off to the locker room where he found the missing girls. All dead in a pile off to the side.

He kept moving there the locker, which smelled of death and testosterone, until he found a room with a light shining through the little crack in the door. He opened the door to find a Tv only playing static, a woman and a table covered in needles and steroid nodded.

The woman began screaming. "No, please don't hurt me!" Batman only respond saying. "I won't hurt you." He walked past her and began to examine the steroids, now know what we're he smell was coming from.

Batman heard head heavy footsteps behind him. He quickly turned around to see a large muscular man as big as Bane were a mask similar to his own and to Bane's. The man suddenly attacked, Batman dodged his attack and ran out to get more space to fight him.

Before he was even able to get out the building, Batman was grabbed by the cape and lifted him up above the man's head. The man slammed Batman to the ground and proceed to beat him mercilessly into the ground.

Meanwhile

Waking down the street, drink a bottle of vodka. A man was head home to rest after a long day of living in Gotham. He finished the bottle and sighed as he threw the bottle away down a ally.

As soon as he hear the shattering of he bottle he hear a wall bust open. He quickly moved behind a near by wall and peaked around the corner to see what was going on.

To his surprise he saw Batman laying in a pill of bricks and his own blood. His eyes widen when he saw the giant man come climbing out the hole in the wall. He began to continue to beak on the cape crusader.

The man watched in disbelief as Gotham famous vigilante was beaten upon. A parts of him want to just leave home to his bed, but another part of him couldn't let the Batman die.

The man sighed and ran over and kicked the giant on the leg. The kick actually cause the giant to fall over. The man used this time to kick the giant in the face stunning him as he picked up back and and ran off with him.

He hid with Batman and check him too see if he was still alive. To his surprise Batman was still conscience. Batman looked at him weakly and asked him. "Who....are you?"

"Nick Kane." Nick said, as he peaked out their hiding spot. The sound of the giant man looking around for them filled the area until eventually they heard him leave. Nick picked up Batman and took him in the opposite direction.

"Try to stay awake, the hospital is not that far." Nick said, and Batman quickly protested. "No hospital." He tried to use the little strength he had.

"What the hell do you want me to do?" Nick asked, as he tried to stop the struggling. Batman pointed to the street when the Bat-mobile pulled up. Nick nodded and put him into the Bat-mobile. "You own me a drink." He as before the Bat-mobile closed itself and sped off.
