Greetings! First of all, thank you so much for checking out this new story. THE HEIR OF CLAUS remains such an important project for me. I loved writing it. It was such an exciting story to write and develop. But it was only the beginning. Continuing the series was something I was anxious to get to work on, almost from the moment I wrote the final words at the end of HoC. But editing, formatting, re-editing, and reformatting the first novel took a whole lot of time, to say nothing of the initial and ongoing marketing. Add to that mix the normal and abnormal circumstances that pop up in day to day life, vacuuming up the valauble time writing a major work demands, and the the moment to sit down with clean notebook and good pen becomes more and more delayed.
Finally, in February of 2016, the time had arrived. On a chilly afternoon, with the sun shinging down on the park I was sitting in, I opened my notebook and put pen to paper, scratching the first words of this new work between the thin, blue lines.

Now, it's almost two years later. I'm more than halfway through writing the first draft. But writing this story has not been without its challenges. As I've been conquering those, I've been looking ahead. I'm wanting to try to avoid some of the same obstacles and lost time that I endured with HoC as I completed the initial drafts. This is where you, my awesome reader comes in.
Because of your support, I've decided to post each completed chapter on this platform, exclusive to my fellow wattpad users. But I don't just want you to read it. I want you to help me edit it. This is going to be the second draft. There are going to be mistakes. There are things that need to be changed. Maybe entire chapters have to go away. Let's find out together.
