"What's yours?" Mia asked.
"My name's Jordyn." I replied.
"No way! Are you by any chance Jordyn Walters from espionage camp a couple of years ago?!" She exclaimed.
"I knew you looked familiar!" We paused for a second, and then doubled over in laughter.
"It's like we're meant to be friends!" She pointed out.
"Ladies, the plane is about to take off. Please take your seats." A flight attendant politely reminded us.
"Ok, I'll see you later." I called out.
"See ya!" Mia said as she waved.
Mia POV:
The flight didn't take as long as I'd expected, and there was no unexpected turbulence. I met up with Jordyn afterward, and we stopped at Starbucks since we still had a few hours until orientation started. We talked and got to know each other better. Apparently Jordyn had lived in Albany her entire life with her mom. She was an only child, and sadly, her dad had passed away when she was just two. I was super glad that I made a friend like her. She was super easy to talk to, and was very understanding.
