The Great Hall is the dining hall of Hogwarts, where Hogwarts Students; Professor's, and Staff eat and socialize. Today is the first yearly feast, where everyone gets acquainted and starts the new year. Every year at this feast, First Year Students come to the front, and get sorted into their houses they will be in until graduation.
